Entrance Preview

I did not appeared in any of tye entrance yet. I will appear for M.Com entrance this year as I want to be a proffessor in DU.

Internships Opportunities

I did not went for internship but generally my friends got around 3Kcompanies - AT Kearney, E&Y, Ken Research, GrofersStipend - 3000 - 4000 per month.

Placement Experience

Placements are good but have much scope to be better .They are good for BBS Grads but not for B.Com3 students were placed for package of around 5 lakhs per annum in ATK4 to 5 were placed in Grofers for around 3.5 Lakhs per annum.

College Events

There are many fest like annual college fest TRYST, Commerce Society fest ( Fledgling) and other departmental fest also for Computer Science, Maths, Phhsics, Psychology etcThere are various events organised by Cultural societies of college like exhibition by Photography Society. All students are always welcomed for participation by auditions to presidents of respective society.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure of DU is always feasible so I guess I need not write much about that but Commerece students. Have fees ranging between 7000-9000 Management courses have fee of around 12000 and similar is the case foe psychology and science courses.

Few days back I met four students of our college which were very glad to have scholarship from college for their studies.

Campus Life

We have facility of Table Tennis, BasketBall, Net ball, Volleyball, Badminton, Cricket (separate cricket pitch is not there).Also we have fully AC reading room, library, anyyime access to computers and wifi. I feel the need of students union in college like NSUI, ABVP.

Alumni/Alumna

I have not interacted with any of alumni of college even after having 2 opportunities offered by college due to some other commitments. Seniors have always been good to us be it NO RAGGING or guiding.

Exam Structure

Exam structure of our college is very good as its properly planned and scheduled or you can say structured. No chaos or hussle bussle at final time be it examination room or labs (as told by my science friends).

Faculty of college is fantabulous. They are always ready to help and solve your doubt whether its normal class or tutorial or BE it anywhere. I would like to specially mention Sandeep Sir (Security Analysis), Rajpurohit Sir (Corp. A/C, Corp Laws, Income Tax), Padmasai Mam (OB). All teachers are very good but they are just above all

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Education, Skills and Experiences under one roof

yes, i have applied for other colleges who teach BMS. Sukhdev college of business studies was my first priority and sadly i couldnt make it into SSCBS as its is NO1 college of India to study BMS and its cutoff is always high as compared to other colleges . to get Admission in these colleges of DU you have to give CUET and then you get admission on your score . for courses like BMS you have to score good In general test and maths as these subjects are considered while Admission . what mistake i did that i could not able to get my dream college is that i did not prepare well . you have to understand that if your goals are bigger you also have to work hard ....Read More

There is no any fixed confirmation to get admission in this college . I got this college randomly and I appied for computer science stream in the other colleges like St. Stephen ,Kirori mal college, Atma Ram Sanatan Dharm college and other than delhi universities such as Banaras Hindu Universities (BHU) . 3 years of figuring it out at KMV

I applied for Symbiosis Pune, Christ Banglore, NMIMS Mumbai, IIM ROHTAK AND INDORE, I got admission in all except IIM, and also got in Keshav Mahavidyalaya after giving cuet, discussed which should i go for from many mentors and everyone adviced for KMV. Comparing to other colleges the fees here i very very less as all other are private colleges, but the services provided there are according to the fees and so is the crowd. Well I scored 350/450 in IIM Rohtak exam and what went wrong was the paper came way too easy due to which cutoff went 409 compared to 330 last year. I could have got any south campus college and even some of the north but I chose KMV because it was on second position for BMS. Cutoff for BMS in KMV was around 515/650 after giving cuet....Read More
