Remarks
The courses need to focus more on the career prospects after passing out the college. The college management should make the students aware of what they are going to do, in which direction they need to focus after completing the College. The Professors/teachers should also motivate the students for making optimum use of their potentials.
Entrance Preview
I got the admission in the Kirori Mal College, Delhi University on the basis of marks scored in the Class XII CBSE examination by getting a place in the merit list issued by the college.there was no interview at that time. I tried in the St.Stephens College also but could not make it.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course curriculum was good and the faculty was excellent. The professors at that time were actually taking pain in teaching the students.
Internships Opportunities
There was no internship in the course in which i graduated.
Placement Experience
The companies came for the campus interview and one of the company which I remember was TATA. It offered a handsome salary amounting to Rs.8000 nearly at that time in 1993 and there was a nice job opportunity.
College Events
One of the biggest festivals was the founder's Day which falls on 1st February it was celebrated with great pump and show.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I don not have any idea about the Scholarships/ Loans available. I did not avail any loan during my course.
Campus Life
The campus life was good as I studied in a boys school, I found the campus life interesting as it was new for me the extracurricular activities were good and the annual festivals Intra-college and Inter-college were enjoyable.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels of KMC are one of the bests in the north campus the food was quite delicious but the space of the canteen was a bit short.
Alumni/Alumna
The legend Mr.Amitabh Bacchan is an alumni of the kirori mal college many other great personalities were also alumni of KMC. I am in touch with only 1-2 seniors of mine as on date.
