The college experience has been great the studies and other extracurricular activities were good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have learned a lot of subjects in the last three years and I had really great teachers and faculty helping me. The teachers are very good and always available to help out the students. All of them are great in their own field. I chose marketing as my specific subject and that has helped me to get a job in a good company too. The placements in this college are good too.

Placement Experience

For the placements, the students were given classes on how to have a good interview and there has been a lot of good companies. I got selected in IBM which is a reputed company.

College Events

There has been a lot of events ranging from fests for different holidays like Diwali to cultural fests and also there are always fests once a year in which the college faculty and even the students participate and make it great. The freshers were amazing too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I am doing a bachelor of commerce from the institute of information and technology. The modes of payments are demand drafts which are very easy and safe to pay through. The fees are feasible and the college is great and has provided a lot of opportunities. There are no additional fee charges.

No, I have not opted for any scholarship or education loan when I was trying to get into the college. Not applicable.

Campus Life

There were a lot of extracurricular activities. A lot of clubs like dance club music club etc which provided the students with different opportunities. There were debates in which students were motivated to participate and teachers helped too. The labs were really good.

Alumni/Alumna

The college seniors were very supportive and helpful. They have helped a lot whether it was studies related or in extracurricular activities.

Admission

I opted for bachelor of commerce as I was interested in having a career in management. I applied for this course as ipu is a great university. The reason I chose the institute of information and technology is that it is one of the best colleges in ipu. Institute of information and technology has a really good placement in the past.

Faculty

There are a lot of lecturers in my course in every semester. Their qualifications are different and amazing which is shown by the way they teach us in the class. The average age of the teachers is 30-40 and they are experienced and have a great deal of knowledge about their subjects.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
