My college has a fantastic infrastructure and various ways of learning which makes any students feels wonderful being a part of it.

Course curriculum consists of completely 5 months. We have two internal exam of 20 marks each, which in then end is considered to be the average of two. Then we have practical exams of 25 marks each and viva sessions of 25 marks each. Our assignments and other activities are counted as Termwork of 25marks each per subject. Then at then end of the semester we have a semester end exams of 80 marks each. Professor makes sure that we have grown in every part of the curriculum to be the best.

College provides opportunity of internship to students after every semester, college has collaborated with many companies to provide interships to students such as BSNL, All India Radio, MTNL, and various other companies. Companies like TCS,LTI,JIO RELIANCE, AMAZON +30 others have visted VIT for placement. Placement activity consists of an online aptitude test followed by group discussion, technical interview and hour interview. Almost 80% students are placed every year from every branch. Yes Institute takes steps to prepare students before placement starts. They provide us with training session of two weeks prior to the placement where all aspects are considered.

Technical- We have different committees which conduct different technical events and technical workshops. Cultural festival includes Friday pathshala every friday and there's a freshers week for 1st years, we have a huge fest called VERVE of 1 week with a lot of activities (technical, cultural, sports oriented). Students from different college can take part in VERVE, so it's intercollege competition conducted by VIT.

In total for 4 years this course costs 5 lakh. This the total amount including everything that a student needs to pay. For securing the admission no amount has to be paid. Yes college provide full transparency in the fee breakdown. They will always provide you with a copy of receipt of payment that you make.

College offer scholarship to students who belong to ST/SC. They have to only 10-15% of the final college fees Every year. Which seems to be very helpful for them.

There are enough opportunities available here in Vidyalankar. They provide 2 large football grounds, volleyball court, basketball court and in addition to all these we have two sports block buildings in our college. One is named as s-block which has almost everything to entertain a student (air hockey, carrom, Pc games, chess, Foosball and many more) then there's one more which is located in main college building but it's underground. When it comes to gender Ratio, we have almost equal number of girls and boys in every class. Different different workshops are arranged by different committees in the college like (ETSA, IEEE, IETE etc). We have Vemperors, sportsmania as a sports events and cultural event. Our main fest is named as VERVE.

I've been staying in a hostel near my college. Rooms are comparatively large and spacious. They have provided us almost everything, from laundry, gym to library. My hostel has fixed 36 seats for girls and 60 seats for boys. Pg can be opted in near areas like matunga mahim gtb etc. The total rent of a month costs like 12,000.

Yes, College conducts Alumni meet once in every 4 year. Plus there are TEDx talks which involves number of alumi to share to experiences and Job opportunities.

I had given MHCET (Maharashtra common entrance exam) on 5th may 2016, results came out in a month or so. I got good marks, around 120-130. After few days you have to apply for counseling, where you have to put colleges in the sequence of your top most priority on the top. After result declaration of 1st list, similar conduction of other 2 list are done. So in the same way I got VIT in the 1st list. By 15th june everything is done.

We have almost 25-30 professors only for the branch of Electronics and Telecommunication engineering. Their age lies between 30-50. We have professor who have done their PhD, masters in respective branches or subjects. Each one of them have an experience bare minimum of 15 years. Maximum of them have an experience of industry.
