Only veg is allowed inside college. That is a drawback i think. And in recent days the Canteen has been shut down. So College management should give a watch to this matter. Otherwise college management is awesome.

B.Tech is naturally a course work for 4years duration. There is scope of M.Tech in EC department which is of 2years. Other than that MCA, MBA is offered. Exams are taken as per University rules. 2 semester exams in 1 year, and then 4 continuous assessment, quiz, assignments etc do vary for exams. Then industrial visits are often organised by college which are really helpful to relate our course curriculum with industry. They groom us for campus placements also.

TCS, Tech Mahindra, CTS, Capgemini, Wipro, Infosys, Bosch, Pinnacle, Luminous, Eicher, Sankalp Semiconductor etc are some companies which recruit students from our college. From my course people go to both software and core industries. Usually these companies take students on the basis of Aptitude/Technical screening, GD(may or may not be), Technical+Personal Interview. Usually 80% students placed from our campus whereas from my course its about 65-70%.

We have many cultural, technical programs in our college. There is Technotica for innovatieve model presentation, Pragati as techfest, Utopia as Cultural fest. Other than that saraswati puja, visvakarma puja is to be held there. Our students are too much enthusiast about this and a huge amount of people take participation on those events.

This is near about 3.6 to 4 lakh for 4 years including all fees. Tuition fee varies between 40000 to 45000. No seat booking is done by taking money. College is totally transparent in fee-breakdown. College accepts payments by cash(like exam fees), DD and NEFT(Tuition fees).

Scholarship can be availed on the basis of your percentage in 10+2. This scholarship is provided by the WB govt. College doesn't provide any scholarship. In case of extreme emergency college may help you forgiving your tuition fee. Education loan can be taken from any Centralized Bank. In that case you have to follow as Bank would say you to do.

Gender Ratio is likely 4:1 for male:female. Cultural society like Rotaract club is there. Social works is being done thourough this club. Besides there are technical association with IEEE, IET etc organization. almost all kind of people from different religion you can find here.

We have a great alumni network. Recently we have formed a website also. On the 1st day of Utopia there is an alumni meet helds. They are much helpful.

It takes admission thourough WBJEE & AIEEE. Admission usually happens in the month of july-august. It's purely based on your rank in entrance exam. (as per rules 15% seat is reserved for management quota, 5% seat is for the students eligible for TFW).

There are 6 UG departments, 1 Basic science department, 1 Humanities department, 1 MCA department which have almost 70+ faculty members. In electrical engineering there are 10 lecturers, 4 of them having phd. Some lecturers are pursuing their phd in part time basis under reputed organizations. They all are expert in their respective subjects and always there for your doubt clearence. 2-3 lecturers of them also have industry experience before they joined in academic infrastructure.
