I really enjoyed my three years in MCC, wish i could study my post graduate, but offeres limited courses. The college management is punctual and strict about student behaviour.
Entrance Preview
I did not write any entrance exam. I opted for this college because it is well reputed, one of the oldest, and lenient.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course concentrated effort n tourism as well as travel management apart from geography. It was moderate our course was easy to learn and we scored most of the students scored above average.
Internships Opportunities
I did my internship at le Royal Meridian, chennai. It was very usefull, educative and fun. No stiphened was offered. The internship report will be evaluated and viva will be conducted and assesed marks.
Placement Experience
There is campus placements from every field which requires a basic B.Sc degree. Teaching, BPO, lab assistants. Some students are placed in dubai, delhi, bangalore. Some ate placed in well reputed companies like cognizant, canara bank.
College Events
One of our famous college cultural event, DEPP WOODS celebrated around February 14. It has many events like dancing, EDM, concert. It is a three day event. Celebrities like Anirudh Ravichander, Hip Hop Thamizha, Gana Bala have performed there.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The annual fee comes around 30, 000, which is feasible taking the facilities and teaching in mind. Each semester is 6 months. 10, 000 per sem and a annual fee which accounts for another 10, 000. This is for the self financed stream. The aided stream is more cheaper ehich accounts very less to 10, 000 per year totally
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers many scholarships in respect to caste and grade of study. Students from the caste SC, ST will surely get one, and students above 80% of marks. The others are interviewed and tested for it.
Campus Life
Campus life is so great, that i really miss it. There is great sport facilities more than 2 football grounds, indoor stadium, handball ground, crickey ground. The labs are well maintained and equiped with latest equipments. There is no Ragging in our college, a special committee ARC watches it.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is clean, affordable and moderate. It is not well equipped but has basic amenities. It is inside the campus which is a forest like scrub, so clean air!!
Alumni/Alumna
College undertakes alumni meetings. It is well connected with the alumni of special programs. College seniors are in contact with respective departments.
Exam Structure
It is based on choice based credit system. We have two internals and ine external which decideds our final marks. My course was not very difficult to learn, so could say easy!!
Faculty
The faculty of our department are very friendly and give advices about course and career. The professor are strick ehen they have to be and soft when we are in discomfort.
