Remarks

All things are good in the college but one thing to be changed is the the maintenance of the collect. Otherwise college is good,faculty are helpful.

Entrance Preview

I have cleared the CA entrance exam CPT with 100 score. I opted this college because it was near to my home and I was very much interested in this college as my friends were also there.

Course Curriculum Overview

Entire sum of lessons and techniques was very good. The teachers provide us all information regarding the subjects. The environment of study is very good an individual teacher concentrate on each and every child.

Internships Opportunities

The internship experience is good and the good thing is that they provide us good stipends and with full facilities. Specific courses make up the confidence in us. All the students got good internship and we all are happy with the college technique of tackling with the milestones.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities are wide but I personally prefer to carry on my studies further so that I can gain more and more knowledge from the commerce field. I will do the job after completing my further studies.

College Events

I was not very much interested in the events but yes my friends were involve in the events. So I kind of got interest in that dance event. My friend she is very good at dancing so we support her and join her.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was very much affordable for me because the fee was once in a year. Because the fees was once in a year it becomes easy to submit fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have no idea regarding scholarship as I have not received any scholarship and in my friends group we have no scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus life was good full of enjoyment. Extracurricular activities were there were we participated in dance they provide us computer labs for our studied. They organises many debates and one day trip to many place.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel were near to the college and special facilities were provided to the girls. The strict rules were made for the discipline. Mess food was totally good I personally fond of momos so I use to eat momos but other food items were also good.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students were of our college were too good they are friends of ours they helped us in studies and n sports. We had a great bonding with or seniors.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was good and we scored a good marks. The teacher were very strict about the studied and there was no cheating in the room we were presented.

Faculty

Faculty at the college was very good. The lectures were full of energy they provide us healthy environment which helps us to enjoy the class thoroughly which help students to learn the basics.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I chose this college based on infrastructure as there wasn't much information available about this college online. Alsoz on the du official website, this college is mentioned as North campus which was a confusion for me at that time as I thought it was true but it wasn't as this is an off campus college of Delhi University. The admissions in the whole of University of Delhi is based on CUET scores. The preferences need to be filled by the students and then he/she is allotted the college according to the cit off and the scores. The subjects that need to be taken in cuet should be the same as in 12th boards. For humanities/arts courses the scores are out of 800. So, for arts courses the normal cit off for general category students are around 650, for obc students around 500 and for sc/st is much lower....Read More

MAC is magnificent!!

Same as CUET as all the colleges listed under DU has the same process. Its not that 12th percentage are ignored they too are calculated but ultimately the winner is CUET. Definitely MAC was not the first choice as it was the Hindu College but never mind MAC was good too....Read More

My personal experience of MAC

Earlier I got admission in Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar college university of Delhi but Then I got this one in second round of admission. And I choose this one because of it's fee structure that is less compared to others. And for the admission you have to appear in common university entrance test (CUET) conducted by NTA then you have to apply for the admission through Delhi University's counselling process which is common seat allocation system CSAS then according to your score and college preference you'll get your admission....Read More
