B.Com(H) is also called accountancy honors is a very good course who wants to make their future in finance. The exam happen in twice a year calls semester 1 and semester 2 first exam occurs at, december and 2nd at June.

Yes, the college provide internship in 2nd or at end of second year many big companies come there to recruit students with good knowledge previously a company name Morris garrages came I applied for the interview in that company and they accepted me at interview and they are providing me a stipend of 9,000 monthly.

The college celebrates all festivals like Durga Puja, Diwali, Holi, Bakri eid, and all of the festivals the college campus is very large and i love to study in this college you must apply for further studies in this college.

The fee structure is very reasonable first admission fee is 5000 and monthly fee of 100rs the fee is very reasonable. This is government college and fee is very reasonable anyone can bear this amounts.

College provide many types of sports like football, basketball, cricket, chess and many more sports like badminton, table tennis. There are very outdoor games and indoor games I am this college.

No, I am staying at paying guest I am Calcutta it is very nice and the food is also very good all things arr very goof in this paying guest good infrastructure facilities washroom and many things.

I got admission in this college by my 12th marks which was 95% then i choose goenka college for my further studies. Any student belonging from general category can get admission in this college from 93% and for SC/ST and OBC 82%.

Faculty

The faculty is very good students will love this college and they will enjoy there study in this college the college provide many cocirucula activities beside studying 75% attendance is compulsory in this college.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

INSIGHTS OF GCCBA

Goenka college of commerce and business administration is the second best college in Kolkata and the best college under Calcutta University. Hence it has a brand value. I got admission offers in SXUK, Jaipuria THK Jain and Bhawanipur college, But this was the best option I had. The admission process is through your boards marks. I got admission in Aliah University which is in New Town Kolkata I got rank 12. I applied in Shri Shikshathan College also and got admission in first list. I rejected both the colleges as Aliah University though it is a reputed college but the placement committee is not as good as Goenka College of commerce. I applied for BBA + MBA integrated program in Aliah University but I wanted to pursue BCom honours in accountancy and finance thus I rejected Aliah University. Shri shikshayatan college on the other hand is another reputed college in which I applied for bcom honours in accountancy and finance I rejected Shri shikshayatan college as no doubt Goenka College is way more better than Shree shikshayatan and Shri shikshayatan is comparatively very much expensive in comparison with goenka. Shri shikshayatan takes around 250000 tuition fee on the other hand Goenka College charges only 4090 rs for 4 years....Read More
