Remarks

Satyam fashion institute is one of the best institutes I must say because each and every member of this institute is so familiar with the students which helo them to adapt the surrounding of the college, faculties were very helpful in every situation and other staffs too.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum of Satyam is really good faculties were highly qualified and experienced about the industry because they work in industry too which is really beneficial for the students that our faculty have the industry experience. College provides many industry visits to the different channels and different shows, which help the students to know about the industry work and help them to gain some experience of the industry.

Placement Experience

5

So as we are the first batch of our college of sjmc so we have not received any placement yet, and as well as no internship too but there so many companies visited our college for different events like Hindustan Times, Dainik Jagaran and other companies too. And the faculty members teach us and prepare us for the placement session so that we easily get the placement.

College Events

5

Firstly we have our annual college carnival which is mainly organized by the fashion department, it contains lots of activities and game and fun, it is mainly for the Satyam students only. Secondly, we have our sjmc fest which IGNITE we started thus fest this year only snd now continues to ignite is mainly a media fest which contains media related like RJ hunt, open mic, nukad natak and etc. All over the India students will participate in this fest and make this fest a grand success.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Sjmc program fee is 65000/-year which is quite good because the other institute around Noida or Delhi is having really high fee for the same course. Satyam accepts every mode of payment for the payment of fee either its cash, cheque or online. If a student won't pay the fee until the last day of submission then they have to pay the late fee for that. And yes the college provides the transparency in the fee breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

Satyam fashion institute offer scholarship to the students who are financially not good to pay the fee of the college, those who are not goodwill write the application with all the details then committee with sit and decide that who is really needy for the scholarship then they finalize the student from each course each student.

Campus Life

5

So as Satyam fashion institute is the girl's college affiliated to women's university so the gender ratio is 100% girls and which is quite interesting and fun. Every month there is a workshop regarding different topics like photography, or about self-development and etc. There are different cultural societies are there for sports, dance, and etc. There are no personal or social issues where run in our institute as it is a girls college so there is no violence will happen and the environment will always be peaceful.

Alumni/Alumna

As we second year batch is the first sjmc batch of Satyam fashion institute so we do not have any alumni or any senior we are the senior of our batch and the alumni too so we didn't experience anything from our sjmc seniors but to our senior's we are very kind helpful for them if they required anything or have any query regarding the college or course or any issue about the faculty we help them out to solve that problem.

Admission

I want to do bjmc because I am passionate about my hobbies that are writing, I choose this college because I found Satyam really familiar and the faculties staffs were to helpful and also it is a girls college so I prefer Satyam Over any other institute, the admission procedure is a too simple student only have the required marks which college want from them and they get the admission in it.

Faculty

5

Faculty of Satyam fashion institute is the heart of the Institute because they are too good in academics as well as a human being they are very supportive in every aspect. We have approx 4-5 lectures in a day which is all worth taking faculties had so many knowledge about the topics that they easily teach us which very good examples and we learn very easily, as the faculty members have industry experience also so they teach us about the industry too.

Placement Experience:

80% students are placed through DME with a package of 5 LPA to 7 LPA on an average which is quite decent for a fresher entering the industry. The top recruiting are for placements are Bharat Express, PR Guru, Amar Ujala, Dynamite News, T.H.E.M.E.S. Over 90% of the students were placed for internship in Amar Ujala, PR Guru, Aaj Tak, ABP News and Doordarshan. Top roles offered are journalist, content writer, anchor, film maker, and back end roles like video editor, graphic designer and many more. I personally plan to go into video editing after getting the degree.

There are not many direct placement with major media houses although students sometimes get industry exposure through sessions or visits .

Placements of our colleges and mediocre. From 6th semester students become elegible for campus placement. The highest package offered was 6LPA and the average package is 3-4 LPA. Placement depends upon the students applying for placement through college. Many students gets internships or jobs by themselves before even reaching placement cell.

Students become eligible for placement during their final year of college. DME offers several different companies that it has tie ins with for placements to students such as Gadgets 360, Aaj Tak, Myntra, PTI and D&P. 70-80% students get a good placement package. My personal plan following graduation is to pursue my higher education in correspondence with employment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself was nothing out of the ordinary material, it teaches you the basics of the field but the faculties were pretty good and helped us understand not just the basic but a little more so that we could actually be able to work in the environment once we get there. Also they organise workshops which was mandatory for all the students without any extra charge to learn from professional what to do and how to do it best. We also used to get projects which actually helped alot in learning with practice the theory.
