The college management only cares about money and about how to make every students life a living nightmare. I honestly hate the day I chose this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Yes, it is industry driven as in my 3rd and 4th year we had industrial internship for the 6th and 7th sem respectively. The industry is assigned to each student according to his or her marks in the previous sem. Yes, we had two industrial visits in the 8th sem.
Placement Experience
Yes, the institute had taken steps in terms of placement thourough placement cell. There weren't many companies that had come for the placement purpose.
College Events
There were No, fresher events but there was an annual cultural event. There was an ethnic day, Traditional day etc. Mechatron was a famous event among mechanical and mechanical sandwich students. Dj night is also included. Treasure hunt was another event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The nri fees was 2. 07 lakhs per annum. Yes, every sem we had to pay examination fees. The No,rmal students had to pay ninty thoudand per annum and the university correction was and is horrible so the university and college take alot of money from the students.
Campus Life
Religion and race plays a big part in mit college life because not only the students but even the faculty is racist. Mind you not all are the same of course but most in this college are starting from the administrators to peons. The teachers if they come to kNo,w you are nri then it's game over.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the seniors from the nri batch were sweet and helpful but due to inate harness towards nri students and foreigners there in not much interaction with seniors.
Admission
I got in thourough the nri process of university of pune No,w kNo,wn as SavithouriBhai phule University. The criteria was to have min. 50 percentage in pcm (physics math and chemistry). I chose this college because of its infrastructure and faculty. I opted for mechanical course originally but as the seats were full had to choose this.
Faculty
The faculty is not great because of the politics involved and the teachers soft corner towards locals and also their priority to teach and communicate in their mother tongue makes it hard for international students and the paperwork is pointless the teachers don't care about it and toss it in the trash in a week.
