Remarks

Overall it's a great college but a little strict. I love my college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum is set very nicely and precise for the students to have a great understanding about their future choices. The syllabus for every course helps students build intrest in any field available. Be it Tourism, Fashion Designing, BBA, BA, etc. Talking about my course psychology syllabus offers the students out of the box opportunities as we learn industrial, child, abnormal, also a lil about other branches of psychology. This really helps students to make a fair decision in choice of their careers.

Placement Experience

4.5

Internship is to be searched by us students using the links given by teachers and college supports it's students by encouraging to enter more internships for practical knowledge and better understanding of how things work. Placements are only available for certain Depts like BBA, BCA, etc where Dell, Amazon, Infosys, Bosch, Microsoft and other companies come to recruit. On an average about 70 percent of students get hired.

College Events

4.5

A variety of events takes place in kle. From departmental exhibitions to national seminars to college fests. Every department organises it's on ethnic day on a different date but the all the departments collaborate to do the annual cultural fest. Apart from this, each Dept organises seminars on different topics according to the students needs. Both state and national level seminars are held for which special guests are invited : people who have achieved in that field.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure depends on the merit list for some courses and is fixed for some courses regardless the marks. For courses like BA, MTTM, Fashion Designing, it's fixed. Exam fees is something extra that you have to pay at exam time. Other than that no additional fees is required.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I haven't opted for any scholarships but there are provisions by government and by college for the rankers. The criteria to be asked in college.

Campus Life

5

The campus is great with a lot of greenary and a lot of fresh air to breathe, average class rooms and about 7:4 ratio of boys and girls respectively. A stage to perform and rehearse all ur talents, NCC chamber where students are recruited to be taught discipline and patriotism. A NSS group for social services. A great sports Dept to enhance the students interests in physical activities, strength and endurance. No ragging or any such discrimination happens in the campus between anyone. One representative is chosen from each Dept to give updates about all the issues or advantages.

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors are very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable too. My seniors thought me to how to use the journalism studio, record audios and edit it. They were a great batch.

Admission

I have opted for BA - JPE which stands for Journalism, Psychology and Optional English. I choose this path because I was interested in perceiving clinical psychology as a career. Our college has some great courses to offer with the great teaching faculty and the college gives us exposure to practical knowledge about our intrests and taken courses. For common courses like BSc, BCom, BCA, application form has to be collected in the main office and required docs to be attached. But for special courses like mine, application will be available in the respective departments. As mentioned earlier for my course direct admission is possible with a fees structure of 25000 per annum.

Faculty

5

The teaching faculty is different for every department but the college as a whole has honourable teachers with great experience and knowledge to be poured into young minds. They are skillful and handy to students with all the curriculum doubts and also push forward talented students to achieve more greatness. Coming to our Dept of BA, we have teachers who have a experience of 15 years and above, understanding but also strict according to the circumstances.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements towards the final semester of their course. Currently, I have only been using the help of my faculty for internship opportunities, since I am not looking for placements. But they have connections with big names in the communication sector, and they often have personalities coming in to give talks and interact with the students. A great number of students opt for placements and approximately 90% of them do end up getting posted at really good companies. Others choose to continue with higher education. My plan after receiving my degree would be to take up a diploma in literature in the UK, while simultaneously finding myself a position at a good publishing house there.

Placement Experience:

From my seniors, I hear that 20/30 % of students from our college get placed. But now being in my final sem I know the reality. For covid and lockdown, the placement sector has been badly hit. Only a handful of companies came this year (5/6 companies). 4/5 people from our batch are placed but no placement for the big chunk of people. From 5th sem students become eligible for placements but in 5th sem, no company came to our college for placement this year. Only in the 6th sem, the placement cell started. Companies that visited till now ( some of them came to take interns and didn't offer full-time jobs) 1) Clevertize, 2) Social Panga, 3) Robert Bosch GmbH, 4) Saatchi & Saatchi, 5) Publicis, 6)PR Pundit, 7) McKinsey, 8) Edsol Edtech, 9) Momo Media, 10) MSL, 11) Genesis BC, Offers: 1.5-3 LPA (average). I plan to send CVs personally to companies through LINKEDIN and other job search platforms because the college hasn't provided us with good placement offers as claimed.
