Remarks
Campus is growing so well but I will suggest to provide more technical skills to the students. Please prefer labs rather than lectures. I will suggest students also to attend lab classes and please dont skip those. You will feel importance of technical knowledge while searching for jobs.
Course Curriculum Overview
Semester system followed by the campus. As I did my btech from the same campus so at that time there were so many good options for on-campus placements but I didnt try because I planned for furthur studies. but during mtech placements chances were very few. Companies mostly prefer btech students.
Placement Experience
Placements are good. but packages are average. If I compare, there were more placemnt options for btech and mba students rather than M.tech.
College Events
Technical festivals were organised each and every year for 3 days in the month of No,v or dec. Variety of events organised by the coordinators in techfest also so many games competition conducted by the coordinators also. Students actively participate and enjoy the events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
We have to pay our fees each semester to our department or in the bank thourough chalaan. No, additional charges were paid except fee for thesis submission or examination fee. Yes, fee breakdown was clearly mentioned in our fee slips also. Little bit expensive but still manageable.
Fees and Financial Aid
I didnt apply ever. but Yes, campus provides fee concession to the eigible candidates. Differnt categories of fees concessions were there.
Campus Life
Campus life was great I enjoyed a lot. specially teachers are very friendly we could discuss our problems with them anytime. Even after 2 years of my mtech passout still m in very good contact with my teachers. They were my biggest moral support. Talking about gender ratio 70% students were boys in btech and 100% were girls during M.tech.
Alumni/Alumna
Our interaction with our seniors were just equals to 0. Sometimes I used to interact just for the notes during the exams otherwise there were No, any interaction between us.
Admission
I applied for enterace thourough website and based on my rank I got selected for the campus. I was interested to do research work during my furthur studies thats why I choose M. tech. I did my btech also from the same campus and I also belong to gurdaspur. so this campus was so convenient to me thats y I choose.
Faculty
Faculty is good not so much lenient No,r too much strict. Faculty is well educated and experienced. I cant say that 100% lectures were attended by us or given by the lecturer. Yes, there were mass bunks also. but If the lecturer wants to deliver his or her lecture then we should definetly attend for the respect also. And we used to do this.
