JEMTEC is a very good college for many courses like BCA, BBA, LAW, BTECH, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

Studies in JEMTEC is really good. The faculties are humble, smart and good in teaching. The exam structure is like in a single semester we have four units in each subject. Once the First half is completed, we have to give our internals and after that, the rest of the syllabus is completed and we give the External exams.

Placement Experience

JEMTEC has some really good placements. In mid-summer breaks, College offers the students to join companies as interns and do an internship.

College Events

There are basically 2 main events in our college other than the usual festival celebrations. The first one is Zest n dandiya which is the Inter JIMS fest. Several branches of JIMS participate in this. The second one is Anugoonj, it's the main IPU fest in which all colleges of IPU compete.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of courses in JEMTEC is feasible. My course fee is 75000 per annum including the University fee. There are many modes of payment. One can deposit a Demand draft in the name of the college. Other options include online payment, credit cards, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there are scholarships available for the students who need it. My few friends have applied for it and they got it.

Campus Life

Our campus is quite clean and good. The students are also very disciplined and make the campus better. We have quite a good number of labs, a very good basketball court and sports equipment. There is Inter JIMS sports events as well as University level tournaments

Well, I'm not in contact with the alumni but talking about the seniors. They are very helpful and kind.

Admission

Computers are something that one needs to learn as it is the key to this generation. So I decided to pursue BCA. I started looking up for colleges and found out that JEMTEC is the most convenient one. It has good infrastructure, facilities, amazing staff and faculty members. I just gave IPU CET, got my rank and then chose JEMTEC.

The faculty is really nice. Each of them has good knowledge of teaching and are experience holder. Most of them have done a PhD and masters. They cover the syllabus even before the time. There are 5 lectures in a day, 2 labs, a short break and lunchtime. So everything is very convenient.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.
