It's a four and half year of course with one year compulsary internship. First year has three subjects anatomy, physiology, biochemistry. Second year has four subjects pharmacology, fmt, microbiology, and pathology. Third part one has three subjects as opthalmology, ent, and psm. Third part two has four subjects as medicine, surgery, obs and gyne, and pediatrics.

There is no placement as it's a medical school, and as per DCI, as specialists you donot have a placement as indicated by the restorative board. Anyway the school furnishes great temporary jobs with a stipend of Rs 10,000 every month for one year. We can likewise function as partners and get ready for PG one next to the other. The entry level position experience is incredible and we get hands on understanding on each perspective and are furnished with the necessary apparatuses and innovation as well.

The college fee structure is bit on the higher side ie a bit expensive, I feel. The fees are Rs 1600000 per annum which makes it to Rs 8000000 on s total for a period of five years which is not very economical or affordable.

To conform to the adage ‘sound mind in a sound body’, a well equipped physical education department under on physical education director is functioning. There are outdoor facilities for football, volleyball, throw ball, cricket, and track. The students have won many laurels in various inter-college tournaments. Good teamwork and leadership development on the fields.

At Vinayaka Missions Medical College, Karaikal - Life in the campus is probably the most memorable period in the lives of the students. Multi-storied hostel buildings, built separately for men are equipped with all the amenities for comfortable living and with excellent mess facilities. The strict discipline which facilitates a conducive atmosphere for self-study is maintained to build the character of the students. Entertainment facilities are available for the hostellers to spend their leisure time. Internet facility is also made available in the men’s and women's hostel. Lush green atmosphere coupled with vast sports ground surrounds the hostel complexes.

My admission in to the college was through my NEET score. NEET is led in the long stretch of may and the outcomes are out by mid june. I scored 522 in NEET and applied for counseling process. At that point I got this college in my counseling and proceeded for the admission procedure.

Faculty members of the college are pretty good and decent. They are very down to earth, helpful and cooperative. They provide us with proper notes which are very helpful from exam point of view. They are always available to clear our doubts.
