The college is the best college in terms of English and Foreign languages syllabus and curriculum. This college can be stated as the best college of language in the Uttar Pradesh state. There is absolutely no negative point about my college. My college is filled with positive facilities.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of the BA Honours in English subject is very detailed. The course have every specific knowledge of the subject. All of the students get very good and detailed lectures through which they can understand the common and also the complex topics of the language.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities at the college are very high because of all of the detail knowledge that is given to the students of the college. Many companies often recruit students from our college. The recruitment in our college is highly dependent on the academic result of the students. All of the student are very good in academic because of the hard work of all of the faculty and lecturers in teaching them.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course is of 3 years. Every year, there are two semesters. The fee of first semester is 3455 rupees. The fee of 2nd semester is 1805 rupees. The fee of third semester is 2245 rupees. The fee of 4 semester is 1805 rupees. The fee of 5th semester is 2245 rupees. The fee of 6 semester is 1805 rupees. The total of the program is around 13,360 rupees
Fees and Financial Aid
There are scholarship present for all of the students who are availing different courses. Fellowships include Junior research fellowship, senior research fellowship, Rajiv Gandhi National Junior research fellowship and A fellowship for foreign national. Post graduation scholarships are available which is known as the Indira single girl child scholarship for PG students. No tuition fee is charged from the students belonging to SC/ST category. They also get a monthly stipend of rupees 1000. No hostel fee is charged from the category. Also, the phd student from the caste get a stipend of 8000 rupees per month.
Campus Life
The sports meet is conducted at our college every year in which all of the students take part from various courses. The activities at the sports meet include cricket, volleyball, basketball, Kabaddi, chess. It is a three day affair which is well spent by the students. There are special lectures which happen in the series such as foreign language teaching and Research, Sanskrit linguistics, opportunities in foreign languages etc.
Hostel Facilities
Two hostels are provided at our college. One hostel is for men and one hostel is for women. Only the regular students of the college can avail the benefit of the hostels. Hostel facilities are available for the students who have a full time course on the campus.
Admission
To get admission in Ba Hons English you have to give an entrance examination. The entrance examination is held in April every year and it is also hosted by the college itself. The entrance exam consists of questions from general English so I first gave the entrance exam and then got admission. The reservation categories of the college are OBC, SC, ST and physically disabled people. I got admission in the OBC reservation category. The cut off marks for the unreserved category is 50%, for OBC is 45% and all of the other caste is 30%
Faculty
The faculty of the college makes the environment of the college very friendly. All of the lecturers give very detailed lectures. All of the professors are well educated . Some are even PhD from recognized colleges of India.
