Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for an MA in English cafeteria program. The cafeteria program allows the students to pick and choose the subjects they want to study in different semesters. EFLU's curriculum is more diversified than the usual master's or bachelor's in English, which makes the students ready for the challenges of the industry.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are very reasonable and affordable because EFLU is a central university. There are various scholarships that students avail. On top of that, the university also has boys' and girls' hostels, complete with washing machines and a WIFI facility.
Campus Life
Even though EFLU Lucknow does not have massive batch sizes; however, the lack of numbers is made up by the beautiful campus of the college, which has several peacocks on sight. Besides that, the whole campus is like a large family where everybody is eager to help out each other. The university has a massive library, called the Everyman's Library, which has books on psychology, literature, linguistics, films, comics, etc. Almost every book that the student would need, in the library has it.
Hostel Facilities
EFLU Lucknow has a boy and a girl hostel which is available at a reasonable price of 2000 INR (UR) as it is a central university. In the hostel, you have a mess that serves vegetarian and nonvegetarian food, both. You would also get free WIFI and a washing machine for your laundry requirements.
Admission
I got my admission through CUET PG. Since EFLU is a central university. There is a CUET for undergraduate courses available as well. CUET happens once a year, usually in June-July, details of which you can find on the NTA website.
