Remarks

I have enjoyed my Masters at this college. It was a good experience studying here. The faculty was humble skilled and polite that I have faced no major issue in any subject. The library was having enough books related to subjects and also outside the syllabus. Overall experience was quite good in Dr B.R. Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course duration was 2 years and syllabus was quite good. The subjects were reliable. In the first three semesters, there were 5 subjects compulsory and in the last semester, there were two choices in subjects. The college is affiliated to Delhi University, which is itself quite renowned.

Placement Experience

4.5

There were a lot of events in the college related to the course. Workshops and events helps the student to getting placed in a good position. Students also get chances in multiple events like science event on different titles and topics to showcase their talents.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course duration for M.sc was 2 years. The first-year fee was around Rs. 12,000 and fee for the second year was Rs. 11,000 approx. The total cost for the course became around Rs. 23,000. I found the fee for my course to be quite feasible for a postgraduate course.

Campus Life

4

The infrastructure of the college is quite good. The labs were up to date, well maintained and very useful. The college library was also useful as there were almost all the books you might need and additional books that may be required during the course duration.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facility is also available from the college side which is also a good part. The hostels are available for both boys and girls coming from distant places. The hostel rooms are quite comfortable and good, registration for the hostel needs to be done at the time of admission.

Admission

The admission process for Dr B.R. Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research is through entrance exam only. I have given an entrance exam for M.Sc to take admission here. The college also provides PhD. in Biomedical Science and a joint M.Sc + PhD course of 4years. The eligibility criteria for M.sc was a Bachelor's degree in related field with at least 55% marks.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty was polite and humble, apart from that they were also experience holders and skilled in their subjects. They were helping in their field of work and they were also helpful in other matters, which made me feel inspired.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is MSC operations research, which is a very vast and deep course. It goes deep into understanding business operations and providing the businesses with best quality steps. There were real life projects which have helped me alot in understanding difficult topics. If there could be more projects it would have been more helpful for studies. The exams level is moderate to difficult, have to study hard to perform good in tests/exams.

Campus placements are offered but I am still in my first year so I have no idea. Students usually go for higher studies (PhD) after master's. Clearing entrances becomes a task. They d offer campus placements it's not that intense as it should be.
