- The playground of hindu college is exceptional, I have enjoyed many sports days and events there.
- The placement cell of the college is very active and always gets good companies on board. They assists the students at every point of hiring.
- My college also had a study room where many students used to study all day, which had comfortable benches for students.
Dislikes
- The course is too expensive, as a government college they should make these master courses a bit more cheaper for general students
- Faculty is nice but there is a lot of absenteeism.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is MSC operations research, which is a very vast and deep course. It goes deep into understanding business operations and providing the businesses with best quality steps. There were real life projects which have helped me alot in understanding difficult topics. If there could be more projects it would have been more helpful for studies. The exams level is moderate to difficult, have to study hard to perform good in tests/exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees I paid for my course in Hindu college is around Rs.52000 yearly. The fees is a little bit on higher side but the quality of education and college life in Hindi college pays that off. This fees is just for admission and tuition fees taken yearly. Other than this students have to buy book separate every month or they can use online study material. For different category student there was some direct discount on tuition fees which is not a big amount, but these students gets scholarship on merit cum means basic which give students scholarships of around 50-70%.
Campus Life
Most loved part of my college life is college society's where we have many options to choose our from. I was part of case building society and placement cell member. I have gained many skills from there like speaking to people confidently, arranging events, connecting with companies and many more. I must say that the societies in Hindu college are very well structured and controlled. One thing that I don't like about the college is that classrooms are too small, we have struggles many times and have switched classes during class tests to give seats to every student.
Admission
I choose this college because it was the top 1 college of the Delhi University. It is situated in the north campus which connect top Delhi University colleges together. I have scored well in 12th class and college degree which helped me get this wonderful college.
Faculty
I will be very honest, the teachers in the college are very good in terms of teaching but the main issue I faced in the college time is that teachers are on leave many times without prior notice which has wasted many days of students, where we reach to he college and find out that there will be no class today as all are cancelled on last moment. Other than this teachers do support students in studies and I personally have gone to teachers staff room for doubt clearance and they have never rejected to help me.
Night Life
Night life around the Hindu college is very happening, as I told you the overall area around is North campus which connect top delhi University colleges. There are also restraurants, clubs, malls and street food joints where students can enjoy at night time around the college. The roads are also pretty safe as there is good traffic on road till 9-10pm, I haven't been out after that time much.
