Course Curriculum Overview
The course of B.Sc.(Aviation) is of a time duration of 3 years which includes aviation subjects, flying and project work, Commercial Pilot License(CPL) includes 565 hrs of lectures, 20 hrs of training gin CPT and 20 hrs on Twin Engine Stimulator and 200 hrs of Flying Training, CRM Workshop is held 4 times a year which is for 2 1/2 days and Multi-Crew Cooperation Course(MCC) which is conducted for 10 days.
Placement Experience
The college provides extremely good job opportunities to the students and the jobs have very high stipends and job security. The college has many placement options for students and students also get offer letters from those employers.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fees for CPL are Rs.45,00,000 with additional fees of Rs.2,00,000 for all the accessories required by the pilot and approximately Rs.12,000 as messing charges. The CRM Workshop is for Rs.10,000. The fee for MCC is Rs.75,000. The rates of endorsement/renewal are available on the college website.
Campus Life
The college does not have many extracurricular activities but does conduct some events for students for recreational purposes. Generally, the course requires a lot of time for studies and practicals and thus that takes most of the time.
Admission
For getting admission to the college, one has to apply online through the official website of the college. Next, an entrance exam is taken(all major cities and UTs have an exam center), then a Pilot Aptitude Test is taken, and last an interview is taken by the Interview Board. During the admission, a Class I Medical Certificate is also required for which link is available on the college website.
Faculty
The College faculty is highly trained and has officials of high posts as well. The faculty is well-qualified and has great experience in Aviation Industry. There are many training sessions conducted by the college faculty in which high ranking also visit and address students and take workshops.
