Remarks
I completed my PhD in Education from Children's University, Gujarat. It is an awesome university focused on improving education quality, teaching and researching on ways to improve the education sector. The college was founded by Narendra Modi in 2009 when he was the chief minister of Gujarat. The college offers short-term courses to school students, which provide them with a chance to be guided by high qualified students studying there, apart from gaining knowledge.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course works on a semester-based system, so the examinations are held at the end of each semester. The college had a quite good syllabus focusing on main methodologies and techniques, and the basic subjects for improving career in the education sector.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities after completing the course for me were quite good, I got placed as a professor in a college, and my fellow mates also landed a good job. Some also got the offer of working as a principal in a school.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for my PhD was quite feasible, I completed my PhD in Rs. 91,000 which was backed by the state scholarship I applied for. The fee was charged Rs. 15,000 per semester, and an amount of Rs. 500 charged as application fee at admission time.
Campus Life
The Children's University has well-maintained labs and a goof library which is timely updated with books, as per coming trends. There is also a room for indoor sports for students, where they can play after their classes.
Admission
I was interested in joining the Children's University, because of my interest in the education sector, so I took admission here to enhance and learn more in this sector. I enrolled for a PhD in Education, the minimum requirement for getting enrolled as being a post-graduate in any field. The admission process was quite simple, I was interviewed and successfully reserved my seat for the course.
Faculty
The faculty were skilled teachers, who had years of experience in teaching. They helped us achieve a lot in a short duration and were also quite friendly. The teachers were also highly qualified and treated us with a sense of respect as we were students of a Doctorate course. We enjoyed learning under them.
