Remarks

What I want to say is my college best in all ways but limitation is there that there less no of classrooms available.

Entrance Preview

No , I haven't appeared for any entrance examination as such now but I'll give CAT in near future and I chooses this because there is more job opportunities available for MBA's.

Course Curriculum Overview

In one semester it is very easy and in other it is very difficult. Sometimes the course is good achieve marks and in other you have to work very hard and it makes your college life worst I just wanted to say that it must equal in all semesters.

Internships Opportunities

I didn't applied for internship from college I just wanted to say that internships are either unpaid or they provide very less stipend to interns. There are very good companies who provide internships but stipend is very low.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities are so good I second year but our seniors told us that our placement system of our college is too good. If you are good enough you will defiantly get the job.

College Events

There are lots of - lots of events and it is very difficult for me to remember all these but I'll try to remember1- economic summit, 2-crossraods, 3- google ceo has recently came to my college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite expensive.If a student is poor he/ she faces many problems to pay fees as there is scholarships also but still u need to pay from your pocket as the scholarships is not enough to pay fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes I have availed college scholarship. Loans are not available I guess but there are many scholarships available to students.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. There are lots extracurricular activities as there are lot of societies in my college.sports competitions are available for college students.Debate competitions are available as there is bebating society as well.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is good i am not in hostel but my friends says that hostel is good but food is not enough good as name shri ram college of commerce must have.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are good helpful at every stage. Alumini network is good and alumini talk is also available in my college so alumini is always connected with college.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is very nice.

Faculty

Faculty of college is awesome you just need to follow what the teacher is going to teach you and that's all you need. I love the faculty of my college, and with this we have tutorials also which makes us to understand very easily.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I choose this college because it is india best commerce college. It was my first preference and I got it. To take admission in this college you have to give cuet just after your 12th exams. You have to be pass in class 12th exams then you can give cuet. You can only give exams of subjects which you had in your class 12th. After giving exams , some universities release their admission form. You have to fill that form if you want to take admission. SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

So basically i had applied to almost all other colleges in DU, for example Hindu, Miranda, LSR etc. Even non DU colleges, for example St. Xaviers. I got in all of them. However SRCC being my first preferance finally became my destination. I chose it mainly because of the Brand value it has. Same reason that people choose IITs. I didnt really get a rejection from anywhere. Just IIM under IPMAT, and that was because i didnt study too well for the entrance. For the admission in this college, u need to clear an examination called CUET. Thats the only exam. Cut off for B.Com hon goes the highest in SRCC itself, being the most demanded college.
