Remarks

College is great as far as the brand name is considered, is deemed, autonomous and government college giving you hundreds of thousands of opportunities for a bright future ahead.

Entrance Preview

JEE exam was given by me and as an engineering student in India, this is the most prestigious exam anyone could give as you get the best of colleges through this

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum is tough enough for an average student, basics need to be cleared in every way. Students must be ready for grades to fall in ICT because of the level of examinations and checking that is being done in the institution.

Internships Opportunities

Georgia Tech is one of the major institutions where people are sent for internships. Stipend is not mentioned but experience can be gained by any internship if done with great efforts and understanding

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement is okay like Raymond, clariant, Unilever, reliance are the major industries as ICT is a chemical institution. The packages are normal like 3-4 lac starting but due to the brand of ICT, it can increase really very fast.

College Events

4.5

Manzar, Sportsaga, vortex(Asia's largest chemical fest) are celebrated with lot of enthusiasm and willingness with a number of sponsors coming from all over the country with very known artists.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is quite low as it is a government college. All facilities like wifi are provided in the huge 16 acre campus with labs all around it. A huge ground and turf to play with all your needs

Fees and Financial Aid

Many of scholarship programs are held for caste students and fees is also really low as it is a government college

Campus Life

5

Campus life is good, hostel is a bit messy but still is fine, huge number of competitions are available for a student of every kind. Girl to boy ratio is almost half.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel is quite messy and mess food is okay okay but fulfills all the needs for a student to live a peaceful life there.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni is really strong and spread all over the world and seniors are of great help be it knowledge, experience, friendliness etc. Also any kind of help can be taken from alumni if actually interested.

Exam Structure

Exams are frequent keeping in mind the continuous assessment tests happening every week almost. God is a good exercise for students to remember each and everything

Faculty

4

Experienced and well trained. Faculties are not always approachable but when asked about the doubts, are not hesitant to explain even 1000 times. Not all subjects have such professors, but majority do

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
