A Good College with Reasonable Fee Structure

There are many positives to the college but there are few negatives which take a great toll on the college's appeal. It includes the faculty approach and interest, then the average infrastrucute, and lesser placement and job opportunities.

The course i took was computer science and it was because of mu genuine interest in computers. So, i did not feel hectic or tired any day as i loved what i study. The course structure is slightly outdated with old languages and concepts taught. It could do better with latest languages and concepts like Python, R, Data Science, and Machine Learning.

The college does not provide any internship as the course curriculum does not have an internship component. Even though if there is an internship component, the college does not help the students to get an intersnhip. It is the students who should search and get an internship which is really difficult these days. Placement and Job opportunities are decent and adequate, not the best as only few companies come for placement and their demand has always been low.

There are many events that are celebrated in the college which includes both cultural events and educational events. The are also intercollege events where students from other colleges come to our college and compete for victory.

The fee structure in our college is on the feasible side catering to everyone's expense. The fee structure include the tuition fee and other college infrastructure. Even the hostel and mess fee structure is on the feasible side.

There are no proper scholarship facilities offered by the college to the students. But there are some loan facilities available but it's not everyone as only limited people can avail that offer. There is also some fee reduction for the children of ex-serviceman.

The extra-curricular activities are present and offer students lot of knowledge rather than just studying. The sports activities particularly has been given more focus and helps students to achieve their sports goals and dreams. There is no gender, ethnicity, religion, or caste discrimination and has a friendly college environment to everyone.

I did opt for the hostel. There's nothing so special about the hostel as the hostel rooms and the sharing options available are pretty decent. I took a two sharing hostel room and it has decent space for the fee. The hostel is much feasible than the PG's as the fee structure for both the hostel room and mess is better.

The alumni network is still on the rise and some of the alumni are in very good positions at major companies. There is an annual alumni meet to help the students with their doubt and get suggestions. The senior students also help the other junior students and contribute to their development.

The admission for the college can be done both online in their website and also by offline means where you get the application form, fill it up and then post it to the college. I did my admission online by applying on the website which is far easier and better than offline method. Then i got an email and SMS which told me to come to the college premises foe admission process. The college staff were very helpful in the addmission process and it took half a day for me to complete my admission.

The faculty is very skilled and show lot of enthusiasm in teaching the concepts to the students very clearly so that they can understand. But not all the staffs are very committed int teaching as some just take the classes for namesake.
