Kareena Oberoi's Review On Sri Venkateswara College - Delhi, New Delhi

I took IP BBA entrance and got ranked at 640 but ended up pursuing Statistics from Venkateshwara College.

It is a little overwhelming, with four subjects plus practicals in each semester with tough subjects like probability and statistical mathematics, survey sampling, real analysis, calculus etc.

I interned in quite a few companies in the last one and a half year, though I didn't score them from my college. The general stipend is between Rs4500-5000.

The placement cell is very good. Companies such as Delloitte, HCL etc come for placements in our college with decent packages.

The annual cultural fest is held in end February and is a much awaited event. E cell has it's fests, placement cells, different departments etc. Also hold their annual fests which are brimming with crowds.

The fee structure is Rs9500 to 10,000 per year plus Rs 1000 examination fees biannually. I guess the fee structure of Delhi University is pretty chilled out.

There are a lot of scholarship facilities which are there in the college. Loan facilities I am not very sure of.

The college is always brimming with students performing in one area, others practicing in the other area, it's like a family once you join any society of our college. Campus life is pretty chill as there's Satya Niketan when you cross the road.

Seniors are very helpful, and all the juniors bond well with the seniors and have meaningful connections. Alumini are also very good as I've interacted with them quite a bit.

Lab classes for my course are for three hours and are pretty hectic after a long day of classes but otherwise labs are air conditioned and sometimes the teachers leave before time. Exams are held with sufficient gaps in between them.

My college is known for its faculty so it's very good. The teachers take a lot of pain to give us the best and integrated education taking extra classes sometimes.
