The course curriculum is well defined and is in line with the AICTE approved syllabus. The three year program has semester-wise breakup. Semester exams are held twice in a year that is in a given year of B.Sc course 2 semester examinations are held. As a part of end semester examination both practical and theoretical examinations are held. a student has to qualify both the theoretical and practical exam to advance into the next year of course.

In terms of placement I can say that the college has 50% to 60% placement rate each year. most of the student go outside in search of good job opportunities and thus they are not dependent on the college based placement. However the placement cell ensures that all the students in the course shall get a suitable and meaningful placement. In terms of internship one has to manage the internship on its own. I myself got an internship opportunity in a good form in Dimapur. Thus, one can search for good internship opportunity and can apply for the same.

The fee of the college is not that much as that of a private college. The three year program cost you around 60K to 70K. During the first year I submitted around Rs 20, 000 is first year fees including other expenses. The fee has to be paid one time that is during the time of admission and after that at the start of each year. If one find the fee to be hefty then he/she can apply for scholarship or educational loan.

Nagaland Government scholarship is available for student from reserved categories and those who have performed exceptionally well in their academic. National scholarship portal also offers scholarship to the students from the central government. educational loans are offered by the public sector bank and private sector bank. To avail the educational loan one has to submit the admission letter from the college in the bank.

Host of events are organised by the University during the year. Cultural fest, annual sports meet, freshers party etc are organised each year. Infrastructure-wise the university is good the labs are well equipped with all the equipments. The classrooms are also good with all the latest facilities like the E-classroom.

I opted for B.Sc honours in Physics program offered by the University the university is a popular education center in Dimapur , Nagaland. I took the entrance exam conducted by the University after qualifying that I was granted the admission in the three year B.Sc programme. Seats are also offered through management quota in which direct admission are done.

Faculty of the college is highly rich in experience and most of them are Ph.D in the domain. Physics is a practical based course and hence the emphasis is on making us learn the concept rather than going for the rote learning of the theorems or principles. Learning by doing approach is built by teachers among the students so that more and more focus shall be given to the practice based learning. Teachers are also open to guide us after the class time.
