Entrance Preview
Professional courses entrance test organised by college. I had opted for Comp. Sc. as a second choice. My health did not allow me to opt for Mass Communication and Video Production.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was designed in par with BE (Comp. Sc) as approved by AICTE with a few exceptions .The electives were either a combination of Maths and Physics or Maths and Statistics.
Internships Opportunities
There were no on-field internship due to certain limitations but we were encouraged to do mock assignments based on real life problems and some of us were able to sell our projects upon completion.
Placement Experience
No campus, but all of us are well placed. It's been a long time so I don't know the exact figures as how many were placed immediately or how many went for further studies.
College Events
There was always a festive mood in the college. The participation was always more than 98% as everyone had a right to opine and felt at home during college festivals.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Because it is a missionary funded college, the fee structure was nominal. I remember my fees was around ?300 per 6 months. Even in those days standards, it was dirt cheap. If that was not enough, there were concessions for students with certain backgrounds and sometimes completely waived off.
Fees and Financial Aid
As I mentioned in my previous question, the fees was nominal, there were no scholarship at least in my knowledge.
Alumni/Alumna
Awesome network. The alumni are like friends. We chill out sometimes over rounds of beer. There is a sense of brotherhood among us. As they say, once an Anthonian is always an Anthonian.
Exam Structure
Apart from the university exams, students were always chilled out. We studied but it was always fun. We were therefore considered brats by other colleges.
Faculty
The faculty were quite competent and because of them, we not only enjoyed the course but also pushed our limits to explore new horizons. The infrastructure was also good with more than 1computer for each student.
