Placement were very poor. It seems it alumi network is non existent or never reached to those positions in their organisations to help the juniors from college.Placement coordinator was not serious and totally incompetent. Management of IMT Ghaziabad also
Entrance Preview
I did Regular Executive MBA from IMT Ghaziabad. I chose it because of locational advantage and good ranking of the college. Admission process was very simple , IMT had one written examination in which I secured average marks but there was not much candidates so IMT took fees and admitted every body who wanted to join.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was very good. Electives were Marketing and Operations. Course was standard MBA Course as in other colleges. Our college wanted to squeeze 2 year full term course into ours 15 months course so it become very hectic. It was good on paper but because of squeezing absorption of course was too low and course was taught as crash course. It was very good.
Internships Opportunities
Not very good. As it was Executive MBA Course of 15 months internship was part of course structure Not very good.
Placement Experience
No placements at all. Very poor. IMT Ghaziabad tries casually multiple times arranging campus placements inviting even B Grade recruiters but even then could not succeed to place even 1 student. All student has to get the jobs on their own and most of the people has to return to their previous jobs.
College Events
Events were frequent and grand. Many cultural events took place on every occasion . It was sort of mandatory to attend these so all pupils used to participate at their best.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Very expensive and not worth it. It was compulsorily residential course in spite of being located in Ghaziabad so fees included Hostel expenses whether you want to live in hostel or not. Total expenses were 7 lakhs for 15 months.
Campus Life
Campus was dull. Except the events no enthusiasm to remain in campus. Though it was residential course but most of the people lived outside or rush outside hostel after classes.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel was average , mess food was sometime good ,sometime bad.
Alumni/Alumna
No help from alumni network and senior students. There was no alumi network at the first place.
Exam Structure
Monthly and annual. Monthly exams were mandatory but in exceptional circumstances waiver could be given. Exams were not hectic and it was chilled out.Monthly and annual.
Faculty
It was average . Not very involved. Most of faculty was guest faculty and from Industry so not much knowledge about evolvement of subject academically. All guest faculty has their own limited domain knowledge. Faculty were not involved in any research and
