Fashion designing college in Delhi

The course curriculum is very well design and it fulfills the need of a bachelor level program in the domain of fashion and designing. The structure of exam is a semester wise manner. Each year of study has two semester examinations termed as the odd and even semester examination. The semester examinations evaluate both the practical and theoretical knowledge in the subjects. In between this end semester examinations practical tests, unit tests etc are conducted.

Placement in our college is decent. The institute has tied up with various firms that offer good packages to the students. These firms also extend internship opportunities for the students. One can also look for off campus placement as many of our seniors have made into good firms on their own effort.

The fees of the college is as you can expect from any private college in the domain of fashion designing. Fora 3 year program one has to spend around 3 to 4 lakh rupees. At the time of admission I submitted around 1 lakh rupees which included the tuition fee and other expenses. To manage the finances one can look for financial assistance like loans or scholarship.

The Delhi State government offers scholarship to the students who are studying in colleges in Delhi and are from the educationally backward classes of society, economically weaker sections or are from reserved categories. Apart from that the central government offers scholarship through its national scholarship portal to the students. Educational loans are also extended by the private sector and the public sector banks.

In terms of events the college organisers designing competition, haats, annual fest, fresher's party etc. Other events like the Independence Day and Republic day are also celebrated. In terms of infrastructure the colleges is sound and has all the necessary things that a required to be there in a fashion designing college.

I applied for the college by making an application online on the official website of the college. I was called for test and interview after clearing which I was granted the admission in the B.Sc program. Later on I was called to complete the formalities and submit the fees. I opted for the college as it is one of the popular fashion designing college in Delhi-NCR region. The college also has its branch in Mumbai.

Faculty in our college is nice and they have decent experience in the domain of fashion designing. Many of our professors have worked in the fashion designing industry and know the the working principles and needs of the industry. In their teaching they put forward those things so that we not only learn theoretical parts but also understand the applicability in terms of the industries need.
