Overall a good college to chase your engineering dreams. One must take admission in this college without having a second thought.

Entrance Preview

MH-CET I choose IT Dept over electronics dept because I wanted to be an IT engineer rather than electronics engineer. The IT dept of this college is one of the best of Mumbai University.The admission process is a centralized process conducted by DTE.

Course Curriculum Overview

The subjects of IT Engineering course consist of learning different languages of Computer languages, coding and programming.

Internships Opportunities

The course of Mumbai University is so planned that there is no time for internship while perusing engineering degree which i think is a draw back of Mumbai Univeristy.

Placement Experience

The placement process starts before sem 7 exam and you are handed a job offer before giving final exams. Many reputed companies like TCS, Infosys, LnT infotech, Tech Mahindra, Atos etc visit companies for annual placment process .The only criteria to appear for big company placement process is to have an agg of more than 65 percent till sem 6.The average salary is of 3.25 lakhs pa.

The Tech fest of VIT, FERVOR is very well conducted by the tech fest committee. It is conducted every year annually. The college also conducts cultural fest very year and also sports fest which plays host to many events.

Campus is the plus point of this college. The crowd generally comes from suburbs of Mumbai.The college has many intra college competitions like paper presentations competitons, project competitions etc.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

Placement Experience:

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

I have applied for parul university, Sanjivani university, K.K.Wagh college of Engineering nashik etc and I have got confirmation for admission from almost all of them but I also applied in CAP rounds so I have got allotted the Vidyalankar institute of technology also so I researched about every college and VIT Mumbai was best in all of them so I took the admission in Vidyalankar institute of technology, yeah also got rejected by D.J.S.C.E for not matching the cutoff or minority. Talking about the admission process I got the admission through CAP round so I have to visit the college as per I have got the batch with all of the documents mentioned on the website of CET CEll with the 2 sets of copies of it and fees accordingly to my Caste when you will complete your admission process they will told you about various scholarships schemes and give you a temporary ID card....Read More

I was admitted in Vidyalankar institute of technology, Wadala trough Mht-Cet Pcm exam. I applied for the exam throught the portal of Mht-Cet online by paying application fees. The eligibility to write the exam is that you should have Physics, Chemistry and Maths as compulsory subjects.
