College Management is too good. They take our opinion every time.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculm includes basic courses from finance like Accounting, Stastics, Economics further it moves to advance curriculm like Financial modelling, Derivatives, Smart lab trading. Along with this you have to pass 6 certification mandated by SEBI.

Class Size: 94Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement is too good. National Stock Exchange, Aditya Birla Capital, NSDL, CSDL, Federal Bank, ICICI Bank, etc you can find a complete list on nism website. Institute setup a placement portal for everyone known as RECULTA which helps the recruiter to find suitable candidate.

College Events

Cultural Event are celebrated very often is NISM Campus, the student are divided in 4 groups. The group performing best in all is given trophy. Also, Students are taken to NSE MCDEX for learning the corporate life there. Overall events are there almost every month. Images are there on NISM Website.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee are very feasible. You get six Nism certification. Classrooms are equipped with AC. also you get proper breakup of fee. College doesn't take any sort of extra fee. They are managed by SEBI which is government body so any unethical practice are completely barred.

Fees and Financial Aid

College gives scholarship to various candidates. Details are there on NISM website. I didn't opt for it nor I took loan.

Campus Life

The gender ratio is almost equal. We had the same number of male & female student. They are events like Trading Competitions, etc. It's like mini India, Students are from whole India from Assam to Jammu to Kerela my class had every student. Culturally everyone supports each other.

Alumni/Alumna

Yaa, seniors were helpful though our senior were very few as it was the first batch they give us tips about placement, Study, etc.

Admission

Admission process starts with entering Application form. The Institue shortlists candidate for written exam followed with Personal Interview. Finally merit list of the candidates getting admission is posted on NISM website. NISM College is being managed by SEBI.

Faculty

Faculty is too experienced with an insight knowledge in Securities Market. There is expert lecture from top CEO on Friday known as Industry Interaction. Also, the faculty has worked with SEBI so they know the Securities Market very well. The average age is mostly 35 to 40 years.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

The students seeking admission in NISM needs to clear entrance exams like XAT/MAT/CMAT/CAT/ATMA/GMAT or MAH CET ( management).Other than that you need to have at least 50% marks in 12th standard for the general category and 45% in case of reserved one. The student must also hold a three years Bachelor degree in any field except for fine arts. The admission is strictly merit based.
