College all together is recommendable and good with quality activities and coaching. Rating would be more than average due to the rich level and facilities. Placements vary little as per the course and field of interest. Management is really good but only disappointing thing is the expensive fees structure and other extra fees. Apart from that the college us really awesome to be a part in. I specially recommend anyone to join and to have fun and have a great future ahead. All the best to all!

CET, I had done diploma in mechatronics engineering from SJP college from Bangalore. My related field was mechanical majorly and in mechanical stream I could have took mechatronics, mechanical, automobile and industrial engineering and management. Since I had interest and craze in building and knowing about the cars and bikes especially, I took automobile field as my major to go on in that field itself keeping up my future interest too in my mind.

As automobile engg is mechanical engg's substream almost all the subjects were same for both of us, only thing is for example: few subjects we were having in 3rd semester means they had it in 4th semester and all problematic subjects were same apart from few theoretical technical subjects. We had very good electives like finite element analysis, non destructive testing and few more.

We actually didn't had internship when I was studying but we did our project work in BOSCH in private limited and we had completed it successfully without any intruptions. We actually had sealed with the pilot order processing of brazil export fuel injection pumps.

Placements are really good in DSCE college as it is one of the top institution but most of the companies were like Infosys,HP, Accenture, wipro etc which they were taking for software associate profile which was good and advicable for IT and electronics department students. Frankly speaking for mechanical stream students companies are less and no much placements happen. Two to three normal companies and hardly one top company comes for placements and which is hard to crack due to cutoff or technical and communicative effective knowledge. Salary package will be decent to high at some cases and it will be from 3 lakhs/annum to 6lpa max.

Technical,cultural, managemental activities will be happening frequently. Most of the students will participate in that and we be having companies seminars and debates. Fests, parties and fashion show etc. Normally in our college celebrations will be high and even I had been a part in few of those.

Fees structure is little expensive and few cannot afford it and it is obviously because for the maintainance, activities and infrastructure etc matters and the reputation of the college also does matters so the expenses are quite more. For non Karnataka students it is even more high.

Scholarships faculties are also their and good to have a benefit of it. I didn't go through scholarship.

DSCE is one of the best top college in Bangalore which is rich in education, sports, campus, placements, academic records and in culturals. Quality standards are really good and high. College is made for specially for styling and party thing etc. Lot of activies does happen. No ragging and sexual exploitations happen but whatever girls have to be little carefully for their own good. I would rate 4 on 5 for the standard and quality.

As I were up and downing from home, I dont have much knowledge or info about them. But few of my friends were staying their and as per that knowledge I could say the mess food etc was good and hostels inside was quite expensive. Especially the NRI canteens and hostels.

Alumini network is good and senior interactions is little less and depends on the person to person and upon active contacts. Really very good platform to get to know each other like senior and juniors. I do not include much into the interactions with senior or alumins.

It was really chilled out. Faculty for labs and examinations were really good and cooperative. We will be having total of 8sems in four years. With normal of 4-5 technical theoretical and problematic subjects all together and two labs in each semesters.

The standard of the college in teaching is little compromising as few of the faculties were less experienced. Apart from that the coaching and lab related subjects everything was good and the college is really cool with active students.
