Remarks

My college is best for a student to learn the theory but we dont get support to implement it in projects. Its moreover a chase to reach finish line for everone and get out of college to professional world.

Entrance Preview

I wrote off comed-k exam as i was interested in engineering since the time i was in school. There was no interview for selection as it was purely on rank basis of the written exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course was very elaborate which started from general engineering subjects and went in very deep in the stream. Electrical engineering is akways considered difficult. I chose embedded and vlsi as electives to grow my reach to electronics field also.

Internships Opportunities

There were no internship programs in our college. Student themselves had to approach any company and request for internship. Generally it was a paid internship or free internship and no stipend was given.

Placement Experience

5

I will rate my college at top fir placements. If you have the potential then you will get placed from college. The salary package offered is not high enough but you will not remain jobless at end of your college days.

College Events

1.5

Robotics event keep happening from time to time. We have our college day in which we have all sort of sport and extra curricular events. We can participate in any event at our own will. Then we had our own deoartment fests in which you can agai iaryicipate at your own will. Our college festival is very huge and students from all over the state come here. And often film actors come here for promotions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My college fees is expensive as per my opinion being 1.5 lac as tuition fee and 1 lac for hostel per year. However it was almost half the fees which i paid for the local students from karnataka state.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college offered fee waivers to scheduled cast and tribes students. And students from the sane state had to pay less fee compared to students from other induan states.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is very dynamic in my college. People from all over the country and other countries can be seen in the campus. We played many games, had good labs and our college day is one of a kind in the state. To sum it up its awesome to be out in our college campus. I miss it the most. There is no politics there. Discipline is strict with full camera surveilance of campus. And you find rich and poor at same place studying together.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels were average to good. Rooms were available on doubke, triple and four sharing. Paid laundry service was available. Food was good serving three times a day. Hostel rentals were little bit on costlier side.

Alumni/Alumna

There was very less interaction with the seniors because of no ragging principle. Juniors are not invited to the alumni meetings. We never got ragged or introduced to seniors which we regret. There was no help from them. We missied that part in our college

Exam Structure

Exam were conducted by the university to which my college was affiloated. I dont think the exams were hectic. We had leaves between two papers. However the correction pattern is questionable in the university.

Faculty

3.5

Faculties were good. Assignments were given regularly and they were not at all lenient in rewarding marks. They took care of attendance very strictly. Faculties were helpful but they were more inclined on finishong the syllabus than imparting good knowledge to the future generation. Teaching standards is very good in first year where electronic boards were used and teaching was mostly done through powerpoint slides and it was very cool.
