Good option for pursuing graduation through correspondence

The course curriculum balances out all the the domains of English from poetry to dramatics to literature and grammar. The syllabus is comprehensive one and is line with the national curriculum followed by most of the universities across the country. Examination are held as per the semester wise scheme of examination. That is in the total course duration 6 semester examinations are conducted making it 2 end semester examinations in a year.

Talking about placement and internship these things are on the student itself. Most of the students go for Masters in English or B.Ed after which the scope for job opportunities widens. Regional centres do sometime organised job fair but they are mostly not satisfying and good salary jobs.

The fee of our university is something which is defined keeping in mind the fact that education must be accessible and affordable for the students. The fee for the entire course duration is rupees Rs 7, 500. At the start of each academic year the fee is to be submitted for that year and it is around Rupees 2, 500.

The state government and the central government extend scholarships to meritorious students and students from financially weaker section. I applied for the scholarship offered by the Central Government through the national scholarship portal and I got it sanctioned. In case somebody wants to take educational loan then in this it can be availed from any of the private or public sector bank.

Republic Day, Independence Day, Universities foundation Day are some of the events that are celebrated at our regional centre. Extra curricular activities is something that is missing in our university. Moreover for a distance learning ine student activities doesn't make much of a sense. Classroom of the regional centre where I am studying are very well equipped and the centre also has a library thus in totality I can say that the infrastructure is sound and sufficient.

For admission to the university's distance learning program I applied online on the official website and filled the detailed application form. After filling the detail application form I took the printout of it and attached my self attested copies of my 10 + 2 marksheet and school leaving certificate. All this along with the Demand Draft in name of the university has to be posted to the universities given address on the website. Once it is received by the university and the documents are verified you are granted the admission in the university. The reason for opting to this university was that one of my senior in school has recommended it.

Professors at the regional centre of the university where I am enrolled have rich experience in teaching English at the graduation level. They understand the beauty of this language and help the students to look into things with the broader perspective and not just mere learning and reproducing things as it is in the examination.
