Course Curriculum Overview
Our college has got the affiliation from the Dibrugarh University. As per rules it follows the syllabus and course curriculum as directed by the university for each program. Examinations are held in semester wise fashion, mid term evaluations short test assignments etc are also conducted from time to time.
Placement Experience
College has specialised recruitment and placement cell which provides students training in soft skills and employment skills. In terms of job I can say that campus drives are organised but are not sufficient for everyone to get a decent. Internship is not provided and internship is also not necessary as a part of our course if one wants to do they are free to do it on their own.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees is kept feasible taking in mind need for accessible and affordable education. Fees for the entire duration of the program is Rs 20, 000 and it has to be submitted in 3 divisions that is at the start of each academic year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are offered by Dibrugarh University to meritorious student each year based on fulfillment of certain criterias. Apart from that the state government also extends the scholarship to students who are domicile of the state. Educational loans are offered by commercial banks to students to support there education.
Campus Life
College has a decent Infrastructure with facilities like well equipped classrooms, library, seminar hall, playground etc. Extra curricular activities like art and craft, sports, dramatics etc are at offer for students. Events like the Bihu festival, national festivals like Independence Day and Republic Day ar celebrated on campus.
Admission
Admission to our college is governed on the basis of merit. That is based on the marks that the student obtains at the class 12th or equivalent level. I applied online on the official website of the university based on my at the plus two level. My admission application was accepted soon since I made an early application and I was called for document verification and other formalities. This is one of the oldest college in Lakhimpur and is popular for graduation among student.
Faculty
Teachers in our college are highly professional in nature and carry with them years of experience of teaching at higher level. Their approach is quite simple that is to make sure that students should understand concept and are not left in shambles.
