Government university in Bidar

The course curriculum is well planned and designed and has kept in mind requirement of a bachelor level program in such a specialisation. Semester wise system of examination is followed. That is in total 4 years of the program in total 8 semester examinations are conducted. Test and assignments are given in between the end semester examination for performance evaluation.

Placement rate of our university is nice. One can get placements in even the agriculture and fisheries department of the state government through the college drive. One can also explore job opportunities outside the university as many of our seniors have done in the past. The university provides internship support however you can also look out for the internship on your own.

Fees of the college is a bit high and is unlike other government universities where you expect the fee to be less. For a 4 year program one has to spend around Rs 8 to 10 lakh in total. Considering the amount one can look for financial assistance to support the education.

The State government of Karnataka is offering scholarship to the meritorious students provided that they are domicile of the state. As per the state government rule students from the reserved categories, from the educationally and socially backward classes of society, as well as from the below poverty line are also offered with this benefit of scholarship. Educational loan can be availed from any of the private and public sector bank like the Karnataka Bank.

Not much is there to offer in terms of extra curricular activities by our university. Events like the National fisheries day, Agriculture day, Republic Day and Independence Day are celebrated. Infrastructure wise university is quite sound.

I filled in the admission application form of the University. Post that I appeared for the entrance test conducted by the University. After qualifying entrance exam I was granted the admission in the course. I wanted to pursue my bachelors in the domain of fisheries and since it was a popular government University offering this course I opted for it.

Faculty of our college is vastly experience. Since the universities is also a helping centre and research centre for agriculture and fishery related topic many of our teachers are involved in research and providing advise to the fishermen from across the state. Their understanding of the practicability of the discipline is what is highlighted in their teaching methodology.
