Government university in Belagavi

The curriculum of the course is very well structured and defined and takes in consideration the need of a bachelor's level program in the discipline of Computer Science. Semester wise system of examination is followed and in total there are 6 semesters during the 3 years duration of the program. Both Practical and theoretical exams are conducted as a part of the end semester examination.

In terms of placement and internship the college is ok and you cannot expect much from it. Most of our seniors have relied on there own for placement and internship. Though placement drives are organised by the University not satisfactory packages or job profiles are offered.

The fees in our university is very feasible and unlike the other universities such as the Amity University which offers this course at a very very high price here you can find quality education at less amount. The fees for entire course duration is just around Rs 10,000 to 15,000. You have to submit around 5,000 to 6,000 rupees each year.

National scholarship portal of the central government is an online platform through which one can apply and get scholarship if he/she fulfills the required criterias. The state government of Karnataka also extends scholarship to the students from various categories provided that they are the domicile of the state. Educational loans are offered by the banks however as the fees is not that much taking a loan will not be feasible.

The college has various societies like cultural society, technical society, designing society etc. Students can participate in various extracurricular activities by becoming member of any of the society or societies. The university celebrates events like the Foundation Day, Republic Day, Independence Day, etc annually. As far as infrastructure is concerned the university is quite sound.

I applied for this university through offline mode that is by feeling in the detailed application form. Along with the form I submitted the attested copies of all the necessary documents and marksheet. verification and possible formalities was granted the admission in B.Sc. programme. I was initially looking to pursue B.Tech in Computer Science however since I couldn't score good in JEE Main and state Engineering entrance examination I opted for a B.Sc program in the discipline. Being a popular government university this was my natural choice.

Based on my observation in the 2 years of my studies in the university I can say that our teachers are are good. They have in depth knowledge of their respective subject and they make sure that things are made easier so that student can grasp it easily.
