Course Curriculum Overview

My course was for a period of 4 years holding a full-time graduation degree. The course gives the knowledge of electrical machines, power systems and power electronics. The college offers regular practical training too during the lab sessions.

Placement Experience

The college has a placement & training cell which provides various summer Internship programs for the students introducing them to the professional environment. The cell trains the students and makes them employable.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I found the course fee a bit expensive but when i compared the activities and events, it was worth paying. The grand total of my course fee was INR 2.5 Lakhs which includes the tuition fees, examination fees, other fees etc.

Campus Life

The college has huge classrooms, clean tutorial rooms, laboratories, library, games & sports etc. The college provides workshops, seminars, training programs etc. and also organizes farewell parties for the freshers.

Admission

I got admission in this college by passing my (10+2) examination from any recognized board like CBSE with a minimum of 45% marks. For my course the application process is online, therefore you can get the application form on it's website.

Faculty

The faculty of this college is Well-qualified and experienced. It is an asset to the department who has a unique teaching style for it's weak students. The teachers are really knowledgeable with their subjects in theory as well as practical.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
