The connection is very strong within the alumni, they conduct regular meetings within themselves. They help us get contacts of companies for recruitment. They help us both academically and career-wise.

First-year we have all the basic subjects like chemistry and physics, from second year the department related subjects are studies which have both lab and theory session. We have three internal exams and one external end semester exam.

Each department has a placement staff assigned exclusively for that department and also a student representative. They train us in areas like soft skills, group discussion and mock interview. We are allowed to go for internships and in-plant training. The college itself arranges it for the students.

The fee is feasible by most of the students. It is only Rs. 32,500 per year hence for the whole course it is Rs. 1.3 Lakhs, compared to other colleges in Tamil Nadu this is far better. Most of the colleges coming under Anna University have lesser fees than the ones that don't.

Our college is very well known for organizing this kind of extracurricular activities like sports, there are a lot of games like chess and carrom in indoors and football, badminton and basketball outdoors. The college has a huge playground for the students to play. Apart from these, there are clubs like women club, photography club. plastic free club.

The hostels are very good. Separate for boys and girls, the hostels can accommodate up to 400 boys and about 100 girls. Nutritious food, spacious rooms, sharing basis and all other essential facilities like wi-fi and electricity. The mess charges are based on sharing system.

I cleared the TNEA exam. I was also selected based on my boards cut off marks (physics, maths, chemistry). Min of 50 % should be obtained by the candidate, after applying you will be shortlisted based on your scores and will be called for admission.

The faculties are very good and understanding, well-qualified and know the subject very well. All of us feel very comfortable with them, even students from other states, they see us all equally. They encourage us to study well and take up our responsibilities in our hand.
