Course Curriculum Overview

Bachelor of Computer Application has good course structure and focuses a lot on research work. The course follows the duration of 3 years. The syllabus is updated as per the changes made and the evolution in technology. The days at the institution is generally very hectic and exams too are very tiring.

Placement Experience

Baraut college of education has a Placement Cell which provides with lots of opportunities to the students. There are internships and placements for the students. Various firms visit the institution and place the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college for bca is around 1 lakh 20 thousand which is quiet feasible as per the needs and demand of the course in the growing industry. Hence, it will not be wrong to say that the fees is affordable as per the education and facilities provided by the institution.

Campus Life

The college is very good in its extracurricular activities. They have various sports activities and cultural functions like fest, fate, annual functions, freshers, farewell etc for the students. There are also seminars and workshops for the students.

Admission

To get admission in Baraut college of education, the students must have completed class 12 from any recognized Indian Board with at least 45 percent marks. Then, the students will be selected on the basis of merit.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.
