Dr Awadh kishore roy is the current vice chancellor of this college. University has 34 teaching departments. It was established in 1960. The university has 260 acres of lush green campus. But no placement is available in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
B.sc. in IT, biotech, pharmaceutical chemistry, M.sc., BA in journalism, BCA, LLB, B com, PG diploma, MBA in marketing, banking, HRM, finance courses are available. All tge courses are designed in a proper way.
Placement Experience
There is no placement happening in the college. Neither any company comes to provide internships. But there are job opportunities in the field of civil services, banking, finance, teaching, lecturership, railway, government jobs etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is quite affordable for anyone. Most of the courses have fee about 7000 rupees per annum. BCA fee is about 17000 rupees per annum course duration is of 3 years. Infrastructure of the college is average.
Campus Life
Various days are celebrated like independence day, yoga day, teacher's day etc. Various events are organized throughout the year. The gender ratio is well balanced. People from different caste and religion study in this college.
Admission
I got admission in this college in BA course on the basis of merit. The admission process is smooth. One has to show the intermediate certificates and marksheet with required marks to complete the admission process.
Faculty
The faculty members are cooperative and helpful. They are well qualified and experienced in their subjects. They help the students to organize events, debates, quizzes etc. They are always ready to help the students.
