Remarks

My experience with St. Mary's College was pretty good. I did my part graduation from here. I did my M.Sc Botany from here, I had pretty good teachers, spiritual seniors and good classmates which helped me alot in academics or other things I had a problem in. The college also had a nice infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is provided affiliation by the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University. The course curriculum is quite good and covers all the subjects. Apart from University examinations, the college also conducts regular internal evaluations for addressing the students' preparation for main examinations.

Placement Experience

They are average job opportunities available at the college, the college has its own placements and invocation cell for personality development and grooming of students to make them job-ready. There are off-campus opportunities also after this course, being a post-graduate course it opens multiple job opportunities in the stream.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The first-semester fee for my course was around Rs. 850 paid at admission time. The total fee for my complete course duration of 2 years was around Rs. 3000. The college also provided good scholarships and concessions for meritorious students.

Campus Life

The college holds regular events, activities and competence for the overall development of students and provides them with a gap for having fun from academics and for team building. The college had a good and well-equipped library with a wide variety of books. The college also had a good computer lab for research purposes.

Admission

The admission process was quite simple. I took admission here through management quota for my M.Sc Botany. The minimum qualification for which was having attained 60% aggregate in graduation. After casting over with my admission process my filling certain forms and submitting documents, I was provided with a seat in the college for pursuing the course.

Faculty

The faculties of the college are professional women who are highly skilled and experienced their own field. The faculties were all kind and open to any type of queries and doubts related everything and displaying good problem-solving abilities.

A College that builds knowledge,confidence and memories

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and relevant to current academic and real world needs,it hepls built astrong foundation knowledge especially in my field geography,the syllabus also supports preparation for competitive exams and higher education. Exams are conducted regularly and difficulties level is moderate,which helps in consistent preparation,however adding more practical assessments instead of only theoretical exams would be beneficial Overall the curriculum is good but it can be improved by including updated topics more hands on learning,and modern teaching methods

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses are well structured and interesting espcially the social psychology and basic psychology papers. in a semester there are 2 internal exams and they will be at least a month apart from each other. as long as you study your course materials, the exams are pretty easy however otherwise it might be a tough one. the courses are well structured espcially the social and basic psychology. and in some semesters, there will be a reading period where students are encourged to go and read in the Library.. The Curriculum served as a base for Internships and basic understanding but it is required to do masters to get a job in psychology filed

My experience at Women's Christian College

Placement Experience:

The placements at college were good. Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester. Some of the companies to my knowledge were Deloitte, Cognizant, Hexaware and the average package was between 3lpa to 5lpa. In my class, ther percentage pf students placed was more than 75%. My plan after my Bachelors was to immediately pursue Masters degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is a famous one and it is studied by many higher officials. The faculty is very good and talented, students ratio is 500:900.
