Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum for this integrated course is very unique, it saves you much time than doing your regular M.Tech. Doing these degrees together helps in PhD research. We have a total of 10 semesters with one main exam each semester.

Placement Experience

Very good training is given by the training and placement cell in the college in areas like soft skills development and aptitude. There are students who give up placements and do higher studies too. An internship is also provided by the college.

College Events

The KIIT cultural festival is a grand event which has all kinds of fun events like dance, music and dramas. There are cash prizes for those who win in cultural events like this and sports events. There is another event called the KIIT Mun which is an intercollege event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is a bit high but there are education loans that come handy at times like these. The tuition fee is 1,50,000, Hostel fee is 21,000, Mess fee is 1,75,000 and Registration and exam fee costs 2000 Rupees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, scholarships are provided to people from two categories a) to those who excel in academics and come up with good university ranks b) to those who have excelled in the entrance examinations itself.

Campus Life

There are societies for some of the extracurricular activities like the Dance society, drama and photo society. Then there is the NSS for interested candidates, a certificated from the NSS would really look good on the resume. Then there are many sports played here like cricket, football and basketball.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni, as well as the existing seniors, are very reliable. helpful in academics and career-wise. Their network is quite strong, most of them work at well-known organizations or are doing research in great areas. This is a ragging free campus.

Admission

There is an entrance exam exclusively for admissions at KIIT University, it is an online exam with physics, maths, chemistry and biology. The selected students get the call letter based on their scores for counselling round.

Faculty

The faculties are very straight forward. Very qualified and of helping nature, they encourage us to take up research as this field, biotechnology is all about research. They always keep us updated with the knowledge they have obtained.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

Placement Experience:

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

The world of Biotech in KSBT

You are eligible for the course if you have had biology in your 12th examination and you have cleared them successfully. The application form can be found on KIIT's website and the fees were around Rs. 1000 when I took the exam and the application dates are usually right after the end of board examinations. The frequency and timing of the exams were one exam in the morning during our time but now it might have increased to two entrance exams and the one you perform better in is considered for admission.
