Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good here. Trimester is followed in this college. Various practical and theoretical aspects are taught here. You can study a lot of subjects in just 1 year. They prepare you for the corporate world by putting a lot of pressure in the first year. But that’s totally worth it.

Placement Experience

Placement is the main reason why students join JIMS. Various brands visit colleges for live projects, summer internships as well as for the final placement. Students at the fresher stage can’t find jobs in such big brands. All thanks to JIMS for giving us this opportunity.

College Events

Various events are celebrated. Zest and dandiya, international conferences, markethon, freshers party, farewell party, celebrity night. Management and business quiz are also held where everyone can showcase their talents.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is in between. Neither too expensive nor too less. Big colleges demand higher fees. Middle-class families can go to this college. The even lower class also study here by taking the education loan. You just need to have the determination to study. Rest all the things will follow up by themselves.

Hostel Facilities

This college doesn’t provide hostel facilities for students. Even the ones who don’t live in Delhi live in their relatives' houses or PGs. The college infrastructure is small but it’s good and comfortable. The library is very attractive in this college.

Admission

I gave MAT exam. Every student needs to score 500 marks in the MAT exam to get admission here. I got a call from the college then I gave a personal interview and I got selected. I got admission 6 months from the commencement of batch so I didn’t experience the GD round.

Faculty

Faculties are very experienced. They have so much knowledge in their respective fields. They do teach students by ppt and practical examples also. Computer lab practices are also done in some subjects.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

I hdd 90.89 percentile in my CAT 2024 and 93.18 percentile in XAT 2025. These are very good scores and make a candidate like me eligible for top B-schools. I converted a lot of B-schools but around the time of admission I struggled with a few medical reasons and the fact that most of the B-schools were very expensive. Truth about jims kalkaji

The eligibility of the course is to have 50% minimum marks in your undergraduate. The application form, fees, and any other information regarding admission are available on thier admission portal.
