This college is good for every student who wants to do specialisation in Finance or Marketing. Many big companies come for marketing and sales profile and half of the batch opts for marketing. A good scope of future is being offered!
Course Curriculum Overview
Here the exams are on a trimester basis. We get to learn a lot of subjects in a short span of time which in itself increases knowledge. The course content is pretty good and detailed. Practical as well as theoretical aspects are being taught here in this college.
Placement Experience
Placements is the thing for which JIMS Kalkaji is known for! Many big brands come here for placements like AMUL, Reliance, ITC,LG and many startup companies also which helps the students to grow in future.
College Events
A lot of events are celebrated in this college. International conferences, Zest and dandiya events, even celebrity nights, HR events and many social activities are also promoted. Industrial visits are also conducted.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure is very reasonable as compared to other colleges. Where other colleges charge around 15 lacs, JIMS fees is 7.2 lacs which is half of them approx. So every student who wants to gain knowledge by spending less money can opt for this college.
Campus Life
Various guest lectures are held in this college in every 2 weeks. Be it about gender equality, financial market knowledge, business quizzes and marketing events, HR events, International conferences, etc
Hostel Facilities
This college doesn’t provide hostel facilities. Students who come from different home towns have to stay at PG’s. Average rental rates which my fellows pays amounts to 12000-15000 per month. Also, they have to spend on other things also. Life without home is hard for them but they are really gaining through this pain.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni also comes for guest lectures in this college. They are supportive and helps in doing assignments and projects also. They are the one who can guide us the real life because they have also experienced the same. So they tell us what to do and what not to do.
Admission
I cleared MAT exam. Students who can get 500 marks or more than it can get admission in this college. Then, group discussion was done and finally personal interview was taken where they asked about me and my qualifications. It was a learning experience even at the admission stage too.
Faculty
Faculties in JIMS are very good. They have so much detailed and in depth knowledge of their subjects. They have done diplomas, research papers and many things. They guide us also to do the same. They are very supportive and friendly also.
