Remarks

75% attendance is very compulsory no matter what are your issues. Timing is same at each and every season. No Matter how the weather is you have to reach your class at time. Either you won't be given your attendance. A student must be very punctual

Course structure is good. Verified syllabus. Exams are taken on time. Labs in the college is we'll maintained and we'll furnished and lab assistant are very well skilled and qualified and co-operative.

Placement Experience

Job and campus palcement chances are comparatively low because of less exposure. Less student sit in the campus palcement. There are many good companies which visit every year in the college with package.

Fest- college fest named as XAVIERUTSAV is held every year in the month of february with lots aur cultural and western programmes Freshers- there is very warm welcome for the new students. Orientation- orientation program is held in the college after admission process get over for the college introduction.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very good with good ROI. It's worth to invest in this college. Any category of people can take admission there is no issue banks is situated inside the college for any kind of financial issues that can be solved there

Hostel facilities are not so good. Rooms are very smalls with not so good facilities. Hostel seats are very less PG are there outside the college for both boys and girls. Average rent for the hostels are 4000 per month

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

I choose St. Xavier's College college over any other college because of it's name (brand) plus it does regular classes and completes it's syllabus on time compared to other colleges who doesn't provide regular classes and never completes their syllabus never on time is a different matter but the whole syllabus never gets covered and most of it is left out. I am comparing it to the Ranchi College, ranchi which is under Ranchi University name as it never does regular classes and never completes it syllabus, it has no proper faculties for each subject, don't do any other extra curriculum activities hardly ever does any practical classes plus there is no internship opportunities....Read More

The best collage in ranchi

I had applied for the Doctor Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University Ranchi. And i got selected there also but i found st xavier's college ranchi is better then that college as this is autonomous applied new education policy of fourth year graduation. I didn't get rejection as i had filled only this two college in ranchi for bachelor's degree.
