Reality of college life at Jim noida

I have taken finance and analytics as my specialization because i have done b.com during my graduation and i have realized that i am good at accounts and maths so i have taken finance and analytics but i have found that course curriculum is good but too hectic because we had classes of analytics on sundays and it was very difficult for us to attend the classes on sundays. Exam patttern was normal with 40marks external and 60 marks internal which also includes VIVA and other projects.

Internships have been provided by the college in the month of dec to march but due to covid 19 few internships got cancelled but still college arranged the in house projects so that the students can learn something. This year 80% of the students got placement with decent annual pakage from our college and top recruiter's were moody's analytics,godrej n many more.

In our college more than 50 events are celebrated every year by different clubs, committees and college but the biggest fest of our college is Gravity which happens in the month of December and this time we had many events in that fest and many bands of different colleges performed in our college.i have also participated in many events and got medals and cash price.

I'm a day scholar student and i come from rohini Delhi so i don't know much about hostel but i have heard from my college friends that hostel is decent but the quality of food is not good and hostel is almost 5km from the college which is also a issue for the students because there is no bus facility available.

I got the admission in JIM noida through CMAT it was a national entrance examination conducted by NTA in the month of January and i got 95.8 percentile in that exam.i have also given Cat exam but i didn't get decent percentile so i applied through CMAT and recieved a scholarship of 75000 on the basis of cmat exam.The admission procedure was very simple but it was follwed by GD and PI in the same day.i had my gdpi in march and after 15 days i got the offer letter from the college.

i have found some faculties are excellent but on the other hand some are okay with their subject and teaching style.Although our analytics faculty was a guest faculty but he had more knowledge and skils than any other teacher in the college. But all the faculties in the college has good industry experience and good subject knowledge and all have different teaching style some teaches practically while some theoretically.
