Remarks
Faculty and learning is good in our college. Students can learn many things from here. But infrastructure is not so good. There are lack of instruments in the labs. And aloso the place is not so good. Commodities are little expensive than other areas.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum of the course in nice. It helps to learn about construction works. Focus on research is not that much but labs are pretty frequent. Exams are held once or twice a month, so days are moderate; neither hectic nor chill.
Placement Experience
Job opportunity is moderate in out college. Some core companies like M. N. Dastur. And other companies like Comsys, CTS, TCS etc. Some teacher also provide internship. But there is no stipend for that.
College Events
Our college organise technical fest named 'Sristi' and cultural fest named 'Jeclat' every years. Progammes are quite good and have budget of 20 lakhs to 25 lakhs. Participation is also good in these programs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure is divider in different catagoris. Tuition fee is 6000 per year and other than that we have hostel fees of 12000/-, non government fees of 941/- etc. Other than that, extracurricular fees and exam fees of 1200/- are there.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is Full free and Half free system for tuition fee, eligibility of which is decided by interview. We can also get scholarship from outer organisation like Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means scholarship. Shudents from cast reservation can have scholarship from college.
Campus Life
There are different clubs for extracurricular activities. Interested student can join them for tracking, music etc. Sports is regularly held every year. Student from different parts of country with different cultures are there. Male students are large in number. Politics is not a part of our college.
Hostel Facilities
I have not opted for hostel, I live in a mess. We have to pay Rs 1000 per month as rental excluding electric bill. Other than that we have to pay for home delivery of about 3000 per month. Room infrastructure is pretty good and quite.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is maintained properly. Alumni come in different cultural festival and help the college with funding, placement companies etc. They also organised library for students. Though that is not maintained properly.
Admission
I got admitted through JELET exam. I had 170 rank. Other admission works were offline, for which we had to come to college. We needed domicile certificate and mark sheets of my secondary, higher secondary and diploma. As I had diploma in civil engineering, I chose the same for my BTech.
Faculty
Faculty of out college are pretty good. They have good qualifications like MTech from good colleges like IITs. They work hard to teach us the couse. But some faculties don't behave well with the students.
