Remarks
Overall I love my college very much. The college staff & management are very good & help in every way possible. I don't have any negative remarks except for the restriction of college management on the college grounds & canteen during lecture hrs. Also low attendance to classes is frowned upon.
Course Curriculum Overview
the exam structure is based on semester system and there are total 6 semester 2 each year and the curriculum is very good and certainly helps a student to enrich theirs understanding of the subject in greater details.
Placement Experience
My college provides excellent placement opportunities for Final year student. In my department every Year atleast 60% of the students get placed in various companies such as Samsung, TCS, Amazon, Amazon Web services, Voltas, Bluestar, Hitachi, Mahindra, Atlas Copco, Capgemini etc. Various Job Junctions are held by different organisations such as MESA, IShrAE & HVAC Companies.
College Events
There are a lot of cultural events organised in our college premises for all academic background. For students from the science background there are a few and for the arts there are some and same for the commerce students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As being a government college it's fee is not very much when compared with the other private colleges for the same course. During my time it was 9500 per semester but I think it may have increased now.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are various but I have not received any one. Our university provides us with various scholarships program. It depends on the students to get if they are eligible for it and it is decided by the authorities concerned.
Campus Life
They are very good and almost balanced in gender equality. There are students from all around from each background of the society and from each and every religion and from different ethnic groups like from north eastern ethnic groups are also studying in our college
Hostel Facilities
Although I have not opted for it but it's infrastructure is quite satisfactory. and there are reading rooms and CCTV are also coming. Yes the hostel fees are not very much but hostel seats are very less as compared to the demand.
Alumni/Alumna
Have met with the various alumni and have good respect of him. Some are quite helpful but not all. Yes it is true when we meet we discussed a lot related to our college and how it has changed from our times.
Admission
First I applied through filling an offline form from the north campus of DU. and when they issued cut off list one after other I went to the college and take admission based on my marks in best four subjects of. my 12 th standard
Faculty
The faculty are very good but there are very less number of faculty when compared to the number of students in the college. Although all the faculty are highly qualified but there number are very less.
