The University is good

The college is great overall. I don't feel any negative about this university. The university provides ample opportunities for the development of the students. There are new training centres opening up in the campus for the betterment of the students.

2 sessionals and 1 semester exam is conducted during a semester. The sessionals have very syllabus as compared to the semester examinations. The semester examination has the complete syllabus taught during a semester.

The Central Placement Cell provides us various companies to choose from. Almost daily, there is a company that has come for conducting the campus placement drive. Many students from outside the university also come for placements.

There is a summer fest organised in our university named Universumm. And a winter fest named Ammunition. Both of these fests showcase talents of the children and live performances of various artists. DJ night is also organised during these events.

The fee structure is okay in my opinion. It is feasible in respect to other private universities. But, it's very expensive in respect to government institutions. The fee is nominal as per my knowledge.

The labs are well maintained and the computers are up to date. The labs are well ventilated and fire safety provisions are also made. There are various teams for the sports as well. There are separate cricket grounds, basket ball grounds, badminton court, squash court, etc.

The hostels are upto mark. There is 2 people sharing in boy's hostels and 2 people and 3 people sharing in girl's hostels. The rooms are maintained and ventilated properly. The discipline is also maintained inside the hostel.

The alumni also brought in to give motivational speeches and the journey of their lives. The alumni meet is conducted every year by the department. The alumni guide us about what paths to choose and which ones we shouldn't.

Through merit list. Merit judged by number of h.s. examination. Merit list available in college website. Then the counselling process start. Or, one can get admission management quota. College is under calcutta university.

Many teachers have completed their PhD. And majority of the teachers are pursuing their PhD. The teachers are well knowledged and can tech well. The teachers also update themselves with the new syllabus.
