Remarks
The positive remark about my college is that it is situated in chennai so the transportation facilities are excellent and we get the most exposure by staying in a developed city with the best facilities of every thing.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very interesting. It keeps me encouraged and enthusiastic to know more about it specially AI and ML. The exams are pretty good as they check your practical as well as theoretical knowledge not only this we have to submit projects for some of the courses like DBMS, DLD and many more
Placement Experience
The placements in my college are quite good the companies offer good packages like the highest placement this year was given by Microsoft was about 42 lakhs per annum and companies like amazon, Accenture and many more visit our campus for the recruitment. They even offer student with pre placement nad internship offers.
College Events
There are many events celebrated in my college the best being the cultural fest called Vibrance which has participation of students from all across the globe not only this we have technical fest called TechnoVit which engages many students in learning new and interesting things about technology
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is bit expensive as compared to the government college. The annual fee of category 1 Student in vit is 195000 and the hostel fees is around 150000 including the mess. There different category offers by VIT depending on your rank you can choose the best fee structure for yourself
Fees and Financial Aid
The college has offered scholarship on the basis of merit like they give students who top the course with 20k every year and many more perks like placements. The students also get loan from many government bank during their course time
Campus Life
The activities take place daily like the drama, athletics. We have clubs for every organization like management, technical, cricket, sports, swimming, drama, music, dance. So many opportunities are given to students so thata they can experience the best in their college
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is quite good better from all the government colleges. The cavities are good as we have 24 hrs hot water supply the washrooms are neat and clean and every floor has 2 sweepers who keep our room clean everyday
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors in my college are very helpful. They are always there to help us out with what ever difficulties we are having with our course or any other matter like placements and internships. There is no word called ragging in my college everyone lives with peace nad harmony and even we enjoy all the matches like cricket football together on the big screens in hostel
Admission
I applied for B.sc non medical in obc category and waited for the merit list as it is based on your marks in 12th. Got my name in first merit list. They asked me to show my documents related to previous school and caste and haryana resident. I had to go through document verification and when i got my documents verified i paid the fee and got admission
Faculty
The faculty in my college are well qualified and teach with ppt as well as board and makes the class interesting. Not only this they are always there to clear my doubts relating to the projects. They teach us the correct way to be implemented in college and organise many of the industrial visits so that we could get a glimpse of how the work is done in profeesional institutions and companies. The teachers give us digital assignments which check the caliber of each student and keeps us motivated towards the course.
